Salon Krelic

Very poor customer service, the worst experience I've had. I purchased a gift certificate as a birthday gift for a teenage girl whose family is going through a serious medical crisis. I was trying to do something kind for her. She was charged $40 (less than the amount of the gift certificate) for an incomplete style. She was actually told that time was up and she needed to leave. She was upset the second she walked out the door. When she got home she straightened her hair herself. I visited the salon and asked to speak with her stylist who I won't name here. He wasn't in so I requested a call from him so we could discuss the matter. I received a call back from someone else who only made excuses and was not willing to offer any compromise. I was given excuses from 2 different employees at Salon Krelic, neither of which were the stylist. I've been in several local Aveda Salons including Reeda Todd and Rain many times and have always received top quality service and styles. This was a huge disappointment for me and I've have to apologize to this girl and her family for the disservice she received. more

When I moved to the Indianapolis area a few years ago I was really worried about finding a nice Aveda Salon that could work with my thin hair. From my first cut at Salon Krelic to my most recent, Jamie Beisner has given me the perfect cut each and every time...she is wonderful!!!! She is very knowledgeable and really listens to you to make sure she understands what you want. This is by far the best salon in town! I get my hair cut every 3 weeks and I consider myself very picky. They are always consistent and work with my schedule. Would definitely recommend. Pros: Service, Skill more

I love this salon! I have been going here for years and it has only gotten better. (remodel, Aveda) More than anything I love the staff. Everyone there makes you feel great not just the stylist you are seeing, and even better yet it is always the same staff they must have no turn over. Great salon you will not be disappointed! All they are interested in is selling products and other services that cost more. They do not follow advice about how to do difficult hair. One of the worst styles I have had in years, and could have been avoided if the stylist listened and did not just do what would have worked for the average person. I cannot recommend this shop to anyone. Like everything else, hair services are getting more and more expensive and stylists should have to learn skills--real skills. more

If your looking for someone to cut or color your hair and someone who is on top of whats current in hair styles. Someone who will listen to your requests and translate that request into a great finished look. Someone you'll refer your freinds to after she cuts or colors your hair. I always enjoy going to Salon Krelic. The Aveda products they use are wonderful. They also provide reminder calls before your service which is also a plus. They also provide refreshments if your service is lengthy (color, highlights,etc). Kevin the owner has a wonderful spirit and is very compassionate to all of the customers. All of the employees are positive and it is a warm environment. I have gone to Lisa a number of times and always receive compliments about my hair. Being new to the area, my wife and I went through some bad experiences searching for a first class Aveda salon. Then we met Salon Krelic. It was a great experience from the start. As soon as I walked in I was pampered. My coat was taken, and offered refreshments. I then relaxed in the lobby, smelling the great aroma of Aveda scents, and checked out all of the Aveda products they have on hand. Not long after, I was introduced to Kylee Shuman, the lucky woman who cut my hair. I know none of you know me, but she was in for a treat. I am one of the pickiest people about my hair. To make a long story short, she did everything possible to make my experience the best. Not to mention what a fabulous job she did cutting my hair. My wife, who also goes to Kylee, would agree 110% with this review. We recommend Salon Krelic and Kylee to anyone who asks. Pros: Everything. Its exactly what I want in a Salon. more

Salon Krelic is one of the best salons I have ever been to. They do so many little things to make you feel more comfortable and relaxed. I also recieved the best haircut I have ever had. This is by far the greatest salon in the city. As soon as you walk in you can tell you're in for a treat. They have a beautiful set up and the wonderful aroma of Aveda. They use all Aveda products and constantly have the newest and greatest to use on you and also for sale. The stylists are friendly and the best of the best. You always leave feeling your best and most beautiful. Even if you have problem hair, once you visit Salon Krelic you will have hair every one admires. They also take the time to tell you what products work best for your hair type and how to use them. I recomend this salon to anyone of any age with any type of hair.
