Based on the first few reviews of this salon, I was excited to get an appointment the next afternoon since it is closer to my home than my old salon. But I should've read ALL the reviews b'c they tell the same story I'm telling here. I was left waiting from the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left FOUR HOURS later. Asking me if I'm comfortable 400 times isn't the same as finishing my hair before taking another client and ignoring me while tending to other clients. I was in such a rush to get out of there that I didn't notice until I got out in the daylight that the color wasn't even close to what I asked for. I can't believe a suburban salon charged me $200 to look almost exactly the same as when I came in & pressured me into buying high-priced products that aren't even working! For that kind of money, I saw another Best-of-Philly master stylist at a Best-of-Philly spa & salon, was in and out within 2 hours, and was thrilled with my hair! I shouldn't have messed with a good thing. I was so upset I called the next day and made an appointment to have it fixed the next evening. I thought it looked better until I saw it in the morning. In the light of day my coworker pointed out the huge gaps between highlights, the absence of highlights in the back of my head, and orangeish inconsistent color. I won't bother trying to have it fixed a third time. I am horrified that this happened twice already, but even more horrified that I trusted the positive reviews about this salon. I'm going back to my high-priced Best-of-Philly salon where I know I'll get what I pay for. Save your time and your money!!!!!!!!
Pros: Friendly staff, ideal for long-time clients
Cons: overpriced, insane wait time, poor communication, inattentive colorist
