Salon De Paris

I thought I would help warn people. My girlfriend went in there last week and they turned her hair orange. I don't know too much about hair- but I know usually when she gets it done she looks really pretty and refreshed. But after she went to this place her hair was all splotchy and a really weird color and just looked plain odd. She looked like she went back to the 80's or something. And I know she was really really upset when a couple days later it turned orange and she had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I think it cost her several hundred dollars and the lady wouldn't even refund her money or pay to get it fixed. I felt so bad for her. She said she went to another salon in Belmont and the staff there told her they have had 3 other people from in from this place with the same exact problem. If I were a girl I wouldn't go there ever, it's not worth it. Pros: none! Cons: turned my g.f.'s hair orange more

If I could give this salon a negative star I would. I had a really terrible, horrible experience there last week. Mortifying. I went in to have blonde highlights put in by Viveene who owns the salon. She promised they would come out beautiful, a nice soft blonde. Well, they came out as the worst highlights I have ever seen on anyone ever. She did them very very heavy and stripy on the top and then very then on the bottom so it looked really uneven. And she didn't get to the root in some of them so it looked like I did it myself at home. A friend even asked me if I did it myself to my horror. Then 2 days later the highlights (which weren't a great shade in the first place) turned bright ORANGE. No joke, ORANGE. It was mortifying. And I had a bridal shower to go to on Saturday so that morning I had to get up and go to a nice salon and have them spend 3 hours fixing my hair, which then cost me $262 dollars on top of the $115 I spent to have her turn my hair orange. The other stylist told me it was the worst highlighting job she had seen in a really long time and she was impressed I was so calm about it since my hair was orange. Then because she had to fix it by going back over the highlights with a normal color, my hair is now fried, stripy and a complete mess. When I called Viveene for a refund and also to pay for the other salon to fix my hair, she said that since she didn't burn my hair or make it fall out it wasn't her fault and she refused a refund. Then after much debate agreed to refund me $85 of the $377 I spent to have her ruin my hair. Whatever you do- DONT GO HERE. Cons: turned my hair orange more

i started going to salon de paris several years ago for regular manicures (tory is fantastic!), and couldn't help but notice the amazing work that vivian did with her customers' hair - she doesn't just give a haircut, she makes a transformation. so when my regular hairdresser was out on maternity leave, i gave her a shot. now i'll never switch. don't let the modesty of the shop fool you - it is a hidden gem! you get twice the glamour for half the price of some of the newbury st salons, with the friendliest staff. more

Look no further if you are blonde and need a highlight you absolutely love call Salon De Paris! Vivian has been doing my highlights for over 8 years. (Wow its been that long) I currently live in LA and fly home for her she is that amazing and one of the fastest in the business. Everyone in the salon is super friendly and makes you feel right at home along with there scheduling is very accommodating.
