All i have to say is one of the best salons I have ever gone to! I was shaky at first going to a new salon but the staff is so welcoming but more importantly my hair always comes ...

The staff is rude they don't spaeak English play loud arabic music and to top it all off they have roaches

AMAZING SALON! TALENT 1/7/2011

All i have to say is one of the best salons I have ever gone to! I was shaky at first going to a new salon but the staff is so welcoming but more importantly my hair always comes out fantastic! The people around me getting their hair done always looks wonderful. No cons, I will definitely go back. more

terrible!!! 5/19/2010

So i was really excited to try this place and they were having a $20 mani/pedi special. I got there at 2pm the time of my appointment where no one acknowledged. I made the effort to let someone know and they told me to have a seat. I saw only girl doing nails. After being ignored for 10 minutes someone came over and had me sit in the pedicure seat and soak my feet. My feet soaked for 30 minutes!!!!! finally i said something and the girl doing nails asked me to wait another 10 minutes that someone came late. I dont understand how she could have been 45 minutes behind schedule!! It seemed to me that it wasnt the manicurists and that someone had to have screwed up scheduling. She gave me a mani/pedi in probably 15 minutes. It was so rushed I couldn't even enjoy. She actually did my manicure in the pedicure chair because someone else was waiting for their mani/pedi at her table! It was unreal at this place. Not only all that but when I went to pay they wantd to charge me an extra $5 just to pay with a card. I refused and paid cashed and I felt truly guilty because I didn't have a lot of cash on me and the manicurist got a bad tip because of everyone else! Don't go here not worth the special!!! more

Forget Newbury St - this is the place to go! 2/19/2009

Pros: I got a best short haircut ever. In the past I paid up to $90 for a haircut...well not anymore! I just moved to Belmont, just had a baby and was sick of my long hair. I missed my short hair and really needed a great haircut to make me feel good and make my life easier. So after doing some research, reading reviews on other sites I made an appointment at Salon De Paris. Great cozy place, they offer you water, coffee, just like in salons on Newbury St. Everyone was very nice, friendly and most importantly ON TIME! (I have to get back home to my baby) So the service part was great. Now the product - my haircut. I already mentioned that it was wonderful, but the fact that for that level of service and such an amazing results you pay about half of what you'd pay at other places - no wonder I met a lady there who flew in from Florida to cut her hair at Salon De Paris... they are fast, professional, on time and a great price especially with this economy! Cons: most people that work there converse with each other in a foreign language. It probably can make some clients feel a bit uncomfortable, but hey, why do we always assume it is us they are talking about ; ) and it sounds so exotic. Bottom line - I will go back there myself, and everyone I know as well as everyone who complements me on my hair - I send them to Salon De Paris. more

Belmont Super Salon 12/9/2008

I believe Salon De Paris, Vivian, her sister Marla, Tory and all the staff are the best in Belmont and Boston. I know this because I have tried only the best in this area. I have been coming to Vivian for 10 yrs so that speaks for itself. They do beautiful work and they are very talented artists. They really care for their clients and it shows. Terrible Hair Stylists and Thieves 7/6/2006

Vivian and Maral Abkarian, the owners of Salon de Paris (Belmont, MA ),are the biggest crooks in the state of Massachusetts. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy. My experience with them has been nothing but horrible. I hired them do my bridesmaids updoes, and they did a pitiful job, which makes them awful hair stylists, in addition, she charged each of the girls $100 when we had agreed on a price of $50 , which makes them thieves and liars…If you want to be lied to or made a fool of, then you should definitely check this place out, they will do just that. more

Great for both guys and girls 10/24/2005

Salon de Paris is a wonderful salon offering a full range of salon services. They are always friendly and personable, and give great haircuts that match my style. They do a great job with guys’ haircuts as well. My male friends love this place almost as much as I do. more
