loved the new salon, except for the noise while in the facial room 11/13/2011

I adore the staff, and the new salon is so beautiful, but there is so much noise while one is trying to relax during a facial. Perhaps adding some special tiles or a better sound-proof door might help? Otherwise, a perfect experience! :o) more

Feedback regarding my experience at Salon Amour 11/12/2011

Laci did my hair color and cut. I appreciated her honesty and her willingness to work with me. She was very precise and keeping me informed of what she was doing every step of the way. I consistently use Aveda products and have used Aveda Salons off and on. I have a tendency to come back to Aveda Salons because I like the color line. I will definitely come back. Thank you. BTW: The new salon is very chic! more

I recently moved here from out of state and one of the more tramatic things was leaving my Aveda salon of 5 years. From my first conversation with the front desk to my wonderful experience with Darlene, I was most impressed. I loved my hair and I really liked the people. I look forward to a long relationship here and highly recommend it to others. more

exceeded expectations 11/10/2011

I know Aveda has set the bar for excellent service, but this salon exceeded my expectations. Hot tea, head and shoulder massages are a value added service but I was also given a tour of the new layout and while I received my hand massage, my rings were cleaned! Nice touch! The appearance of the place was clean and fresh with the perfect amount of natural lighting. The staff was professional and knowledgeable of everything Aveda. Andrea, my stylist was easy to talk to, attentive to my wishes and accurate on her execution! Great Job Andrea! It was opening day from being newly remodeled and from the moment I walked into the salon until I left, it was flawless. There are times you get what you pay for. Then there are these rare times you get a little bit more. l recommend this salon to everyone. You will not be disappointed. And I will be back. more

I was privileged to be one of the first clients on the opening day at the new location. It is a beautiful, modern facility. Although the physical surroundings had changed, the excellent service had not. more

New Salon 11/9/2011

The new Salon was great. Really like the layout with the color stations seperate from the hair stations. With the Salon's new day on 11/08/2011 they were able to function pretty well. only a few glitches with hot water but they found a solution very quickly and most guests were not disturbed. Thanks to Amanda D. for making my Hair look amazing as usual. And to the Salon Amour Team Thanks for making the experience great. more

Note to management. 11/9/2011

Love Amanda, but cold water issues bordered on painful, usually don't mind it cool. I recall your having plumbing issues in the past with regulating water temperature--you might consider having a backup plan--say having tepid water in 5- gallon jugs available. RE upgrade in pricing--@ time of last visit before the move and when receptionist called to confirm my appointment plus email would have been a better way to inform clients. I was really caught off guard and even though I was given a choice to pay previous rate would never want to cheat anyone. P. S. I don't have my own computer so I don't get all emails. more

The new space is absolutely gorgeous! Mary clearly had a blast at the Vidal Sassoon program in the City. She was excited to cut my hair today and it looks fabulous. I'd say this was a good move for everyone!! more

1st Experience With Salon Amour 11/5/2011

I really enjoyed my visit to the salon. Everyone was professional and warm. Darlene - my stylist, listened to my woeful tale and gave me a great haircut. I especially enjoyed the hand massage at the shampoo bowl. I referred the Salon to my colleague and she made an appointment as well. She too was very pleased! more
