Beyond Satisfied 6/14/2011

This is my 3rd salon in Walnut Creek, and I have finally found happiness. The friendly feel of the salon is a welcome break from overstyled salons, my stylist offers a hand massage with each appointment, and I love the Aveda products. Most importantly, I love my haircut and color. more

I have been a customer of Salon Amour for over 3 years. There's a reason I have referred so many people as well as never even thought to go anywhere else - every experience I've had is just fabulous! The atmosphere is relaxing and the stylists are very knowledgable and friendly. I will be a customer for a long time to come! more

I've been going to this salon for 5+ years, my hair cut and color always look great. The staff is professional, courteous and caring. I highly recommend this salon! Thank you to Andrea who always listens to what I want and offers great advice when I want to change it up a bit! more

I enjoyed Chelsea's work and her great advice on styling. Even though I came in just for color, she styled my hair so it looked like I had had a fresh cut. I would definitely go to Chelsea again. more

Not pleased 6/9/2011

Although the staff was all courteous and friendly the haircut itself left a lot to be desired. I thought it was pretty much fool proof to bring in a picture, explain in detail what I was looking for and again explain in detail what I didn't want. I had to have her fix quite a bit of the haircut before I left, however, it got to the point that if she continued to "fix", there wouldn't be any hair left. At this point I'm left with a horrible cut and have to wait it out until I can go to another hair stylist to have them fix this mess. I would definitely not recommend this salon. more

Very Happy 5/29/2011

I am very impressed that Angie runs on time - there are many salons out there that don't! I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment, the client before me was paying for services. In less than 5 minutes I was sitting in the chair beginning my appointment. When I was done, as I was up front w/Angie paying for my services her next client was arriving. It's nice that our time is valued. I never felt that Angie was rushing through anything, I was definitely receiving the level of service we deserve. My color turned out fantastic, she really listens to what you want, like, and don't like and offer options and ideas that make sense. more

Loved everything about my first time at the salon. Peaceful environment, enjoyed soothing hot tea the whole time, and all the girls that work there are extremely nice! Darlene did an incredible job on my low lights and I will definitely be a regular customer of hers. more

Thanks to Chelsea.... She is so kind and thoughtful and could relate to my curly hair dilemmas I always thought she was a special young person when she was the receptionist (back in the day) and after Ruth's departure, she step right in and made my day I've always been a huge fan of Aveda' products and Salons, its been four year for me at Salonamour' and my experiences have always exceptional...
