I had a chance to visit this place on few occasions and loved every minute of it!! I must say that it is a Fort Lees' little precious jem, because it is one of the kind places for NJ. I had my nails massage and a facial done there and was treated like a queen. Service and staff are immaculate. Once, i visited the place during their renovation and still was able to have a very enjoyable time with my girlfriend. Front staff is very caring and were able to help me with everything i needed. Defenitaly an A++++ experience. Manager is a lovely Russian lady who will meet all of your needs with her experienced advice. Oh yeah, and now since they have renovated the place it is unbelievable, very stylish. Must see!!! more

The reception staff is very rude, they looked me up and down when I walked in the door and were very short and snippy with me, when checking out they again were very unfriendly and were actually talking badly about other clients while I was still paying. I feel more welcome at 5 star spas in NYC then I would here. The pedicure was the worst, it took her longer to paint my nails then it did for the rest of the pedicure (25min) it was just regular red nail polish, I was so frustrated I almost grabbed the brush from her to paint them myself, the chair is very uncomfortable my back actually hurt afterward. I also heard one other client screaming at the manager while getting my service done (I think the reception staff forgot about her). Haircuts are ok, but everyone seems very frazzled in the salon. Overall not a good place to spend money for a relaxing or good experience. more

I've been twice to the Spa and I will be heading over for my 3rd visit this Saturday. I have to say overall the staff are very professional and know how to make you feel comfortable. I will be bringing in my mother this time around, and I have recommended the Spa to several friends and family members not just for the massages but for the facials as well. Keep up the great work! Massage Therapy by Laura at Salon/Spa 5 has helped me immensely! I am posting this in case there is someone out there like me who can benefit like I did. Also because I would like to publicly THANK Laura. In the early 90?s I suffered from connective tissue disease, an autoimmune disease where my immune system attacked my joints. My disease has been in remission for over 15 years, thank God, but my body still had remnants of stiffness. I used to go for massage with Laura at Salon /Spa5 every couple of months or so. A few months ago Laura suggested intensive treatment. She said she could work on my muscles which are attached to my connective tissues, and if done in successive frequent sessions, I could see results due to muscle memory. I am a skeptic by nature, but trusted Laura because of her medical background- she had medical training prior to coming to the US. I decided to try it. I immediately saw results which prompted me to contact my rheumatologist. He confirmed that the massage treatment could indeed help me and gave me a prescription. I knew it was effective because I felt so much better even going up and down the stairs in my townhome. However, if there was even the slightest of doubt, it got erased the minute I went on the tennis court. I was stunned!! I had not played this way in over 15 years. I could move around without feeling like I was carrying weights. I truly felt like 20 years were shed off of me. I came to this spa right before my daughters wedding. I wanted to get a facial and eyelash extentions so maybe I could send my daughter there as well. Nikole did both services and was very knowledgeable of her services. My lashes looked great. I am definitely going to keep them on they are addiciting! My skin was glowing and I am definitely going to send my daughter there for her big day! more

I must admit, overprice and snobbish attitude does go hand in hand, but it no complaint when quality follows. The owner, Nick, and the co-owner, Nula, are excellent hair cutter, but it would cost you an arm and a leg for their service. Other stylists are bit cheaper, but their skills are no better than ?super cut?. My option, if you like a precision hair cut like myself, go to junior stylist in Vidal Session, you will get a good hair cut with reasonably good price and friendlier service. \r Pros: The owner, Nick and Co-Owner Nula is excellent cutter Cons: Very expensive and other than owner and the co-owner, rest of staffs are just average more

I came to this salon to get servicesl because I heard phenomenal reviews from friends. The design and ambiance of the interior is extraordinary and the level of service and hospitality was 2nd to none. I live about 30 minutes from their location but I cannot imagine going to any other salon ever again. I strongly recommend anyone to go there to experience it as I did! more

I have been going to the Spa for few years now and let me tell you, it's a truly a jewel. I love the attention from Spa's staff, place's cleanliness, amazing decore, and prices. If you think thats already too much, you should check out for yourself the high quality of products that they use. I like to do research before i go out and spend my hard earned money. This place is worth every penny. You want to be treated like a queen, well you will at Spa 5. There are only a hand-full of places in Northern NJ, that will give you the same type of services for the quality and choice. This one defenitely falls into top 5. My girlfriends decided to treat me to an afternoon at Spa 5 for my birthday while they treated themselves too. First of all, I would never have stepped inside such a high scale salon on my own, but boy was I glad my friends knew better. Normally, I would be intimidated in this atmosphere, but the staff immediately made me feel welcomed and at ease. I started my services with a "Table Thai" massage by Laura who combined massage with gentle stretches that made me feel as though I was having an outer-body experience. I then went upstairs for a manicure and pedicure with Maria.She was very in tune to my needs and knew exactly what polish would work for me.She then proceeded to give me a great bikini waxing ( I decided on that at the last minute and not only was she o.k. with that, but she took my pants off for me so I wouldn't smudge my nails). I caught a glipmse of her next clients' gel nails as I heard her client saying that saying that it was 4 weeks since she'd been in. Let me tell you, it looked like they were just done. I have this feeling that the salon is filled with talent and I can't wait to go back for a facial. I may have to come back for my friend's birthday too. I could get used to this!!! i decided to try this salon because many of my friends use it.. and i had a refer a friend card with 50 dollars off so i decided what can i lose.. since it had to be over a certain amount i got a brazlian waxing and a pedicure. the services were done by nikole who did the waxing and angelica who did my pedicure. the waxing was great.. the wax they use was very good for sensitive skin (which i have) and she was very nice and friendly and knew how to really make me comfortable with great small talk. the pedicure was extremley relaxing and she was very professional.. i could tell she really knew what she was doing. and had a lot of fun while she was working on me. next i will try the spa! its gorgeous and very inviting. i would def recommend this salon to my friends and fam. From the person who booked my appointment, to the receptionists when I walked in, to the eastheticion and massage therapist who provide servises, SPA 5 was one greate expirience! The massage with Laura was really fantastic! I' ve had massages with various therapists before, but this one was absolutely outstanding. Facial with Nicole was just greate! She was really attentive, very knowledgeable and friendly. She recommended some greate product, but wasn't pushy at all. My skin was smooth, lifted and rediance. But the most importend I felt radiance inside! My hole experience at SPA 5 was unforgettable! My experience has been the best out of all the NY/NJ salons put together. A place that is customer oriented and provides genuine service and a top notch product. There is no rushing appointments, in fact they literally go out of their way to provide a relaxed enjoyable experience. More then once I heard ""it's all about meeting your needs"". i came to this spa because i wanted to clear up my skin. Since i heard they are one of the best wtih skincare I figured I'd give it a shot. I've had skin problems my whole life and after several dertamtologists i decided to try facials. Well i've had about a million skin peels and da da da. and mandy did such an amazing job it cleared it up a whole lot. i now consistently do facials and use their products. Her prodcut recommendations were great and am extremely happy wtih the results. more

my wedding was about 3 weeks ago. and i decided to go to spa 5 to get a beauty makeover. so i booked a few appts. walking in was a very nice experience the receptionists were very friendly and escorted me into the spa. i felt as if i belonged there not in a strange place. i booked eyelash extensions and eyebrows. since i wanted to be more natural on my special day i figured the eyelashes would be a good idea. nikole did a fab job on both my eyelashes and my eyebrows. everything came out natural and didn't look over done.even though i booked it for my wedding i booked my follow-up appt! more

I like coming to Salon 5 because of many reasons...Great spa services with people like Nicole who really cares for me. But the way that the salon 5 is now compared many years ago is something black and white. I feel the no matter who I go to i feel special and well taken care of. I love to go on a Saturday because it's packed with people and everbody that walks out loke great...Very positiver energy! I get my hair done with Carmel and Sofi most of the time and I defentitly know that I will be stopped on the street, because I look and feel faboulos...And what's soooooo great is that they have my favorit makeup line Bare Essentiuals. more

I was very impressed with this salon and recently tried the spa services. I had an amazing haircut, wax and massage! The staff is very nice, I received a discount for future services and I have literally been stopped in the street by people asking me where I had my haircut. My co-workers have told me that I look ""sheik and sassy"", and my husband is please with my wax. \r The place has a NYC flare with NJ prices. The owners of the salon Nick and Nuala provide individual attention-and having bagels and fruit available for me on a Saturday morning is an added bonus. I have only been to this salon for one thing, waxing. I have been using waxing as my main method of hair removal for yeaaars and I was hesitant to try a new salon when my I first moved here. I have been to Salon 5 several times now and each visit is better than the last (not to say the first wasn't great). Although the girls at the front desk aren't the friendliest, the girl that waxes my legs is the BEST. She's very young but probably going to be one of the best in the near future. It's worth the drive from my house to this salon, passing up several great jersey salons on the way, to get to this one.
