First Timer at Sagittarius Salon in Hagerstown, MD 6/13/2011

I'd heard good things about this place, lovely atmosphere, excellent client care, top rate stylists. All the raves were true. I didn't expect to find a place like this near my home. This was more suave and upscale like somethink in the D.C. Metropolitan area. I was not required to wait long for my stylist. I was given the normal hair wash and shampoo but was surprised by the soothing hand massage to go with it. My stylist was pleasant, knowledgable and honest. When I told her my ideas she gave me reasonable feedback with a great alternative. The style turned out better than I had hoped! I've already booked my next appointment to try out another service. If you are looking for a run-of-the-mill cheap beauty parlor this place is not for you...but if you want quality, style and expertise in a beautiful setting it's worth the extra time and money! more

Would never go anywhere else! 6/12/2011

Thank you once again for the fabulous salon experience I have come to love. From the moment I walk in the door I feel like a welcomed part of the family. Every member of your staff is not only professional but warm and caring. My stylist/colorist, Lorah, is superb. She has a great eye for style and color and always does a fabulous job. more

My Sagittarius experience was as always outstanding 6/12/2011

I have having my hair done at Sagittarius for quite some time and am always well satisfied with the experience. When I leave not only do I look great but thanks to the little extras, a nice cup of coffee or glass of tea, the shoulder massage and hand treatment I feel great too. more

Wonderful Experience 6/11/2011

LeAnn did a wonderful job yesterday. She was warm and friendly from the very beginning of my visit. I will definitly book more visits in the future. The only issue was that I paid with a gift card that I received for Mothers Day and was unable to put a tip on it for LeAnn. Had I known that, I would have brought cash. I felt really bad not leaving her a tip. more

Color, Foils, Cut and Style 6/10/2011

Can't speak highly enough of the staff and particularly Janelle! The look and manageability of my hair is so important to me and Janelle has been able to provide me with everything I desire. I have had to float from one salon to another over the years because I've discovered that once I was no longer considered a "new client", I wasn't priority one. Nothing is worse than going into a salon only to be cared for by staff other than the stylist I scheduled with. Stylists were overbooked and I suffered. NOT at Sagittarius! Best salon I've been to in over 20yrs!! Thank you Sagittarius. more

I have been going to Sagittarius for five years now and have always been thrilled with the service and attention that receive. Even when I do not know exactly what I want done with my hair, my stylist knows exactly what I need and I walk out with fabulous hair. It is well worth the price and I highly recommend them to everyone!! more

After moving here from a big city, I struggled for a long time to find a salon that offered the services and customer service I had come to expect. Sagittarius Salon & Spa certainly delivers on both counts!! I was so impressed with them that when my daughter got married last year, I booked the bridal party for hair and makeup...and everyone loved the results! Not only does my stylist do an outstanding job, but the little details such as the shoulder massage and the hand treatment for every customer help to make Sagittarius a cut above the rest! more

Review of service 6/6/2011

I look forward to coming for my haircut appts because the front desk staff is so professional and welcoming as well as every person I come in contact with. I feel respected as well as pampered. I absolutely love the hand and scalp massage at the shampoo station. Specifically, Leigh is always so friendly and pleasant. I feel right at home. Loree is my stylist, an I probably don't need to state what an artist she is with my hair. I always feel my hair looks great when I walk out the front door. Great service!!! more

Jeramie was wonderful, and I felt like he really listened before he started to do anything. He was very informative, and hepled me make wise choices. I am excited for my next appointment, especially since I won't be driving all the way in to Tysons Corner any longer. Great service close to home is awesome! more
