Saffron Salon and Day Spa

I am so excited to tell you about Marlana she does accupunture at Saffron. I used to get treatments all the time, haven't been in a while. One of my friends who sees Marlana once a month recommended her. I walked into this salon and was instantly waited upon. Coat taken, beverage offered and while I was waiting for Marlana chatted with the girls behind the desk. These girls are all bestfriends. They make it so comfortable for clients, I felt like I was at home. Marlana was ready to take me in for my treatment. She was so gentle and so nice and has a truley kind soul. I've been to practically all the spas and salons in and around Boston. I do love the suburban spas the best. Saffaron was a lovely experience. The staff made me feel incredibly welcome as soon as I arrived, however, there was a bit too much talking among the staff in the front of the spa. To me, first impressions really make the entire experience. That being said, I looked past my inital reaction of the chatter and I can say that the overall experience was good. My recommendation to you Saffaron, cut back on the chatter among the staff, and keep up the great work on the services. Thank you for the great service! I can't tell you how badly Concord needed a place like Saffron. It is truly one of the most beautiful, comfortable, warm, and welcoming spa salon I have been in. I was welcomed by all the staff, as soon I entered my coat was taken, coffee given (starbucks even). I had my hair done with Lucy who was current with the styles and gave me the best highlights. My hair has never looked better and this is coming from a die hard Newbury st girl. Lucy was knowledgeable, friendly and skillful. I booked my future hair apointment along with a day of beauty. Where do I begin? First off, you must experience Brian's Massage. It is magical. Somehow he has the power to melt away stress from the body without the intensity of deep tissue massage. I dont know how he does it, but my neck feels great. From there I joyfully trodded into the Facial room with Christine. At this point I had no idea if I was coming or going. Between the heated foot & hand massage and the skillfulness of her caring touch, I felt incredible! My skin looks fantastic and it glows. All my friends told me how great my skin looked when I got home. I felt completely cared for at Saffron Salon and would recommend this spa to any one who is seeking for quality of service and a welcoming atmosphere. My old hairdresser moved out of state so I had to go and find a new hairdresser. I drove by Saffron (I drive by all the time heading to work) and figured I'd stop by after work. I had my hair cut by Lisa, she did such a wonderful job. She made me feel very comfortable, asked me how I would like my haircut, and she did exactly what I asked. I bought my wife a certificate to go there and she was also extremelely satisfied with how Lisa cut and styled her hair. This is definately a great place. I'll be going there for now on. I love to go for massages to get help with tension and my tight neck and back I go at least twice a week. This time I decided to try Saffron I saw Brian and let me tell you I wont be going any place other than to see him again! He was the best I felt like I was on cloud 9 when I left. He worked out almost all my tension with deep tissue massage that didnt make me feel uncomfortable or bring tears to my eyes the massage was the best I have ever experienced. I went to Saffron for a half day of services and left with a feeling of great joy! My fingers and toes were tickled and glimmering after my mani/pedi, I cried during my massage, I laughed during my lunch break with the owner, I relaxed during my facial, and learned wonderful things about the team at Saffron while my hair was washed and blowdried. I seriously felt like a new person when i left there. If you have a few hours in your day i highly recommend checking this place out. I do know why they won best of City Search in 2006! I am always traveling and looking for places to relax when I get sometime. I live in the Concord area and heard from a friend about Saffron. I just had to try it out, with just one day at home I used that time to pamper myself with a literal day of beauty. I had a Champagne facial to start the Esthetician was fabulous had a great facial. I continued on my day of relaxation with a 1 hour message just the best message I have ever had. I have had messages all over the world and this was by far the best. I had an accrylic fill, and a Spa Pedicure during all this, wine, cheese and lunch were served. At the end I had my hair done. Everyone was so accomidating and understood my every need to relax.
