About as Italian as Pizza Hut 8/11/2002

Piles of gummy pasta laden with canned tomato puree ain't Italian food, folks. Do yourself a favor and try someplace like Sotto Sopra sometime. Places like Sabs can be fun and filling when you're trashed at 2am, but they shouldn't be confused with real Italian food. more

Disappointed!!! 7/29/2002

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The rest was very dissappointing. It came with high praises from others but the food was extremely disappointing. I have gotten better Italian food and less expensive food at a pizza parlore. Avoid the veal at all costs, it is like rubber. Pros: Service Cons: So-So Food, Expensive more

Really nice people.... 7/23/2002

Had dinner here a few weeks ago. Met some of the nicest people ever. Our waitress (Peachy was her name, if you can believe it) was incredible. She was very efficient & kept us laughing all night. The food was really great too - just beware of the portions - they're huge! Peachy was even nice enough to tell us when she thought we were ordering too much food - we should have listened to her! Try the Clams Casino and the Veal Francaise a la Sabatino! That's what I had. Can't wait to eat here again. Pros: friendly people, feel good food, fun place more

Always the Best 7/22/2002

My family and I have been visiting Sabatino's for years. The food is ALWAYS delicious! Sometimes I visit because I get a craving for the House Salad and incredible salad-dressing! I recently arranged a client-dinner with Sabatino's. Again, the service and food were superb. 25 customers with enough food served for 40. The client is still talking about the experience. Great job Sabatino's! more

I have eaten often at Sabatino's when visiting relatives in baltimore. I love the place and their food, but my favorite dish is: Veal alla francese and I keep ordering it. Outstanding........ 7/21/2002

I was in town with a group of firefighters for a convention. A large group of us (about 40) had dinner at ""Sabby's"" Friday night. We were seated in our own room, had our choice of the full dinner menu (which is really big), and had the time of our lives! The service was friendly - and efficient! And the food.....FANTASTIC! This is the way Italian food should always be. It was one of the most satisfying dinners I've ever had. Wish I had a Sabatino's in my home town......I wonder if they'll consider a second location........... Pros: excellent food, great service, fun place more

Don't forget the Bookmaker Salad... 7/18/2002

I've eaten at Sabatino's many times over the last 20 years...I've always been greeted kindly by the same gentleman at the front door, I've been seated promptly, I've had excellent, friendly service, and always, ALWAYS, an incredible meal. The portions are large, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is like a Sunday family dinner at my grandmother's house, and the food is simply delicious. This past Saturday was no exception. You have to try this place!!! 5/30/2002

Everytime, and I mean EVERYTIME I go here, it is a special treat. The food and service is fantastic. I really don't know how some of these other reviewers could have had a less than great time. I have been here with a large group and also with just my husband and it never fails my expectations. This is real Italian food, not ""Spaghettio's"" quality. Our favorite is the baked ziti and garlic bread. They also have one of my favorite waiters (Sean) that works there. He is top-notch and not bad to look at either! more
