Great service. Bad service charge. 2/14/2012

Although my annual service charge was always included in my monthly balanced billing payment, this year the bill says, "...not included in your balanced billing..." and SOS is demanding my $400.00 regular payment PLUS a $351.42 "non-budget amount". This is unfair, and I CANNOT pay it! After being a customer for some 15 years I expect some understanding! I will have to see if this can be paid from the overage in my account. I don't know what I will do if they refuse and demand the extra payment. What colossal gall! I really don't mind if you tell them who I am. I will be calling them soon on this matter. more

I GUESS IT DEPENDS ON A TECHNICIAN THAT SERVICES THE UNIT , OVER THE YEARS I NOTICED THAT EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS WERE THE ONES WITHOUT COMEBACKS, SO MAKE SURE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO PEOPLE YOU HIRE. more

Very satisfied customer 2/10/2012

I've always been very happy with their service for heating oil, and recently I made them my propane supplier as well. When I inquired about the on-demand water heaters they sell, the SOS rep ran some numbers and told me it wasn't worth it for my situation; they could have just sold me the equipment and made money off me, instead they were honest and gave me an honest answer. more

I cannot be more pleased with SOS service. The fact that the office was open early to take my call, the fact that they could tell me approx when the svc tech would arrive and the actual service itself. All of your servicemen have taken care of the problem and are an asset to SOS. Yes, I would recommend you to anyone. more

Have been a client for 25 years Service has declined Specific issue, wanted to convert to gas, stayed home, had inspection, NO ONE ever got back to me. wasted day, still with Sub Propane because SOS failed to follow-up. Quite an indictor of failed service. more

with 40 yrs at this location, this company is 4th we have had. Left 2 others due to disatisfaction (generally office staff attitude) and the other was bought out. As you see from above ratings, 5 stars in all aspects w this company. Customer relations for any company is very importanr to us. more
