Caring and Help Beyond the Job 12/4/2015

I have been a customer for 17 years and SOS has been there to repair and tune up my boiler whenever I needed them. The employees are all knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant to deal with. Yesterday when I turned on my heat, I experienced a bad water leak caused by a carpenter who had nailed 3 nails into the hot water pipe and SOS came and repaired it within 20 minutes so that I would not be without heat I highly recommend this company. more

Great customer service / reliable 11/11/2015

Never fail to provide reliable service and never an issue with billing. For the first time in 10 years I was home when receiving my delivery and met Dominic the delivery tech. Just a nice friendly guy providing excellent service. Sometimes we take this for granted but I appreciated. more

Oil to Gas Conversion 9/21/2015

Just wanted to take a second to put a review in for our recent oil to gas conversion. SOS Extreme were great to work with. From the estimate, to the management and scheduling, all the way to the installers, I could not be happier with the process. It was a pretty major project and everything came out great. Everyone that I interacted with was very friendly and patient and took the time to show that they cared about our project. Whenever I had a question, no matter how small, they were prompt to respond and clear it up for me. When we were done they also helped me get all the info I needed to apply for the rebates. Great folks to work with. Highly recommended. Thanks again! more

EXCELLENT ON ALL COUNTS!! AMAZING EXPERIENCE! 9/16/2015

SOS has been our heating oil provider for some time. After providing excellent heating oil and boiler servicing we decided that after 25+ years we needed a new boiler. Fortunately O&R had already brought natural gas past our home and we were able to convert to a natural gas boiler/hot water heater. SOS gave us a great quote, pulled the permits, removed the old burner and tank and installed a natural gas furnace. They finished the major portion of the job in a day and were quiet, respectful, the work is superb, and they left the area spotless. My husband and I are thrilled. Thank you to all at SOS involved with our job.(Bob, Stephanie, Techs 33 and 612 and anyone else we may have missed). Working with you all was an absolute pleasure!!! more

Kevin was my service person for the last two years. He is dedicated, and talented. I am very pleased with his service. As everyone who lives in my area knows, our heating system has been called many things, most often "unique ". I appreciate his ability to keep both units(HVAC) running smoothly. more

Outstanding Service 7/26/2015

We just had our first AC and Heating Tune up with SOS. Kent (Service Technician) was Fabulous. Arrived on time, called prior to arrival. He took His time checking every single thing. Explained what He was doing step by step. Any questions we had were answered and explained in great detail. Can't say enough about the professional and couteous service we received, and would highly recommend SOS to anyone who wants outstanding Service. Especially If you want to feel 100% confident that your units are in proper working order. more

100% ON THE MARK! 7/17/2015

We have been using SOS Fuels for our yearly heat and A/C maintenance service for over 15 years. When discovering that we were due for a completely new A/C unit, we didn't give it a second thought of who to call and schedule an appointment with. The two SOS workmen arrived promptly, they were clean/neat, very professional and worked diligently for over 7 hrs. SOS cares very much about customer satisfaction. Their prices, honesty, quality of service and professionalism is by far the best we have ever seen! more

Always Wonderful 7/6/2015

SOS has kept our outdated system running way past its prime. I have 4 small children and being without heat or hot water even for a short time can be difficult. Service calls are always prompt and they have always fixed the problems quickly and to our satisfaction. I have dealt with Tim (#67) several times...professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Forgot the most important thing. 6/27/2015

I have to say that the installation of the Heat & AC unit was installed great. The only thing That ticked me off was that this house was only heating ducts and no one even brought up the fact that the RETURNS for AC has to be up by the ceiling and not by the floor. We ran the AC for days and having to hear my wife complain that the house is not getting cool. Of course not. Until I figured it out that the cold air was being brought back to the unit and none of the hot air up by the ceiling was being removed. I had to open up the walls and extend the returns up high and use magnetic pads to block off the heating returns so that the hot air would be pulled in and not the cold air the unit just pumped out. Then the house cooled down. Thanks for all the work and no one seeing this problem. I just hope you use this in the next house that only had heating ducts. Add the job in to extend the returns. more

Unexpected great services 6/20/2015

As a member of the Heat USA, I received a call from the management office in March 2014 that our contract with Panco (heating oil provider) had been terminated and that we were to receive oil delivery and boiler services from SOS Extreme Comfort company. We had no idea what to expect. After our first oil delivery, we learned that SOS also provides services for central A/C. We have hired SOS to replace our old A/C. We are extremely happy with our new A/C and with all SOS services. I have notified Heat USA of our satisfaction with SOS Extreme Comfort. We are going to recommend SOS to others. Jiri Pivonka more

Strongly recommend service contracts 6/18/2015

I have been a satisfied SOS Fuel customer since moving into the Woodlands at Tuxedo almost five years ago. I strongly recommend their service contracts that I have on my oil furnace and air conditioner. Their yearly maintenance, administered by well trained technicians such as Kent, (who performed my yearly servicing today, June 18, 2015) has kept my heating and cooling systems trouble free and will probably keep them operating to the fullest extent of their possible lifespan. more

Problem solved, no fuss and quickly 6/1/2015

No hot water on Sunday morning. Dispatcher sent Tim #67, who arrived as promised, found a worn coupling and replaced it, we were up and running in no time. Tim was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. more

Service Tech Called 5/31/2015

When our furnace was serviced in the fall of 2014 the SOS service technician recommended that we begin to think about replacing the 23 year old boiler. He pointed out signs of corrosion and indicated that it would only be a matter of time before it would require replacement. The boiler lasted through the winter with no malfunctions but recently started to leak. We contacted SOS and an appointment was promptly scheduled with a salesman who came out and discussed our options. At his recommendation we decided to also replace our 23 year old indirect hot water heater. The installation and removal of the old equipment was performed promptly as scheduled. The new installations were done very professionally and look neater than the original installations that were done when our home was built. We weren't happy that we had to replace our old boiler, but the SOS staff helped lighten the blow by being courteous, prompt and professional. As always, we are pleased with the professional service we receive from the SOS team. more

Repair 5/6/2015

Had to call SOS due to an issue with our system. They came the very next day. Tim, the service man repaired the problem quickly and without issue. Covered by our heat USA conract. Be was clean, efficient, and polite. i recommend them highly. trustworthy and reliable. more

Our technician, Tim #67, was excellent! Courteous, tried his best, and was successful at, keeping our costs down. Tim diagnosed & repaired our furnace quickly, efficiently, & accurately. The service dispatcher was very accommodating and courteous as well! Would definitely recommend SOS Fuel as heating fuel/service provider. Was previously with Carpenter & Smith who were HORRIBLE. more
