We had a great time at my Son's birthday party.\r This place has everything you could want.\r The service was great and the staff helped move the party along and I did not have to clean-up after the party.\r There was something for all ages, trampolines, slides, swings, bowling, putt-putt , and more blow-ups than you could count.\r I recommend for anyone wanting a great kids party or just a day out \r more

I work for the State of Ohio and I think everyone should know what the owner DAVID POWELL is doing at his facility. He has been fined repeatedly by the state of ohio for ignoring state safety violations. Everytime an inspector is in the facility they are found to be not staffing the facility according to the law. This guy cannot care about the kids if he doesnt care about the safety. A few more times regarding this and the State will shut them down. Every other inflatable place in Cincinnati is following the law and safety is priority there. I suggest you dont go to Run Jump and Play until they stop breaking the law! more

Great Experience! I recently had my child's birthday party at Run Jump n Play. We had never been before, so I didn't know what to expect, but I was quite pleased with the experience. We chose to have the party on a Friday night so that the kids could go to almost all of the play areas whenever they wanted. Although it was a little chaotic, the kids had an absolute blast running from place to place. It appeared to be a very safe environment, too, so I didn't mind that at all! The party host was very helful in making sure we knew when to go to our party room and she even helped served the pizza and the cake that I brought (bring your own candles if you bring your own cake, though!). The facility looked pretty clean to us especially considering how many kids were running around in their socks! The staff was friendly and helpful of all of my guest parents. We loved our party host-she was awesome with the kids. If you're looking for a place to go for your kids to have lots of fun this is definitely it! We will definitely be going back in the future for birthday parties, or just a rainy or random day. more

Run Jump N Play Review 5/2/2012

HORRIBLE Owner, Okay Staff & Facility\r \r I had my childs birthday there 4/6/12 and let me warn you if you have a party here on a friday, PER THE OWNER, ""YOU DONT GET THE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WOULD RECEIVE AS YOU WOULD ON A SATURDAY."" From the time we walked in the door it was BAD. Since they have open play on fridays they basically just look up the party you are with, give the children a wristband, have you sign a waiver and tell you that you can go play!??? No type of organization with the party WHAT SO EVER! They ""assume"" that you've been to the facility before and figure that you knw what to do and where to go frm there. They dont let you knw where your party rm will be how long you have to play, etc. When i read the details of the party online it explained that we would have certain time limits in the different areas and what areas were included in the package however they were told to just go play and that they would call us when it was time to go in the party rm and then they couldnt even tell me how long until being called. I guess that is okay if your not looking for any type of organization to your party but personally i feel that for 200+ dollars they could have done a WHOOOOLE lot better! I would have been better off just buying a bunch of day passes and eating cake at home for the service i got! Oh and let me not forget, they lost my sons cake. The ""party host"" came to the party rm and asked if we brought a cake then asked my sister if she could come to the front and help them locate it. My sister pointed out where it had been placed by THEM, UNDER A STACK OF PAPERS. The owner came to discuss our frustration about the party but that was POINTLESS because he was defensive the ENTIRE conversation and kept describing how wonderful Saturday parties were and how great the customer service was so i went on to ask him ""so b/c the party is on a fri we receive less service?"" and his response was YES!!! He said that ""everyone cant afford a party on a saturday so they have them on fridays which is a little cheaper so yes you do receive less service than compared to a saturday party."" The saturday parties are only $30 more however they only have certain party types on certain days and i figured that since the children could play in all the inflatables with the ""triple bounce"" party that they would enjoy that better than being limited to what they could and could not do so ""affordability"" was NEVER a issue. He went on to compare it to a Monkey Joes facility that he had been to in Atlanta and said that his facility was much better. I havent been to a Monkey Joes in Atlanta but ive been to all of their facilities in Charlotte, NC and i beg to differ.... Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though.... more

Great Concept - Bad owner & Staff 11/2/2011

I purchased a Groupon for Run, Jump and Play for my children to come and try out. While I thought the Groupon was a great deal, however, we will not be going back. I, unfortunately, wasted my money here. My fault for not checking it out first. First and foremost, the staff, including the owner, is rude and seems as though they are displeased with the fact you walked in their door. (I am basing this off of the two visits we have gone.) The first visit, the owner was making fun of someone's child who had posted pictures somewhere - I am assuming Facebook - and was discussing it with his staff that was at the front desk. After being there for a while, I didn't think the place was that clean. I understand it is a facility where party's happen and kids are there playing, but it didn't appear that they cleaned or had anything to clean the play area where the swings were. There was dust everywhere and spots on the floor that I didn't want to know was there. Second, while we did try to come back to the facility, just to make sure that maybe everyone was just not having a good day, or maybe something happened, we attempted this yet again. While I was checking in, the girl seemed like it was an issue to assist me to get checked in. (Because they had no one at the counter and they were all either sitting or standing around - there was about 4-5 of them.) When I went back to ask them if we could play the bowling, the two lady's were discussing on how to start the bowling, I was watching my children to ensure that they were where they were supposed to be. I then over hear the owner go back behind the counter to discuss a customer on the phone who wanted a refund for some reason. He rudely and quickly snapped at the lady who was on the phone with her that he ""was not refunding anyone anymore money for (whatever it was)""... and that he was going to ""take care of it"". While I was watching in astonishment, not only because of his behavior, but I could see why, up to this point, the staff was like it was. And this is a child's entertainment area...which I find amazing at the fact that it didn't seem ""child friendly"" or adult friendly at this time. After listening to him get on the phone, I turned around and the lady's that were going to assist with starting the bowling looked at me and the one said ""well, are you coming or not?"". REALLY!!!??? You think speaking to your customers like that is appropriate. I didn't feel that talking to the owner was going to get me anywhere. And I also didn't think the $4 per game of bowling was worth being treated like that. After my children were playing in the bowling, the owner came in and said hastily ""What lanes are they playing on?"" After telling him, he hurries over and starts playing, then grabs some of the bowling balls my children were using so he can finish his game. I have decided after that experience and witnessing what I have witnessed already, that the Groupon can go to wasted. Also, in addition, I hate to say it, but the McDonald's play area in Mason is cleaner than that Run, Jump and Play. It is a shame because my children thought it was a fun place. Cool idea to have the playsets, inflatables, glow in the dark putt putt and bowling all under one area. Just not a cool idea to have someone run it who obviously doesn't have his heart in the right place, mistreats customers, and obviously his staff. No further contact is needed. I am just disappointed and wanted to state my review. (By the way, we visited during the week, not on the weekends.) more
