I have had food from this place in different occasions, and I am always happy.I tried their kebabs.Their Filet is amazing.Stews are very good quality and taste very homey.I am persian so I know what good persian food is.Their humus is fabulous.It is a cute small restaurant which has a nice european environment.One of my friend is vegan and she always enjoys the veggie options there.The owner is always talking about good catering options.I looked at their catering menu and I found it very reasonable. If I do want persian food other than mu house I always go to rubyroom. more

We go there with bunch of friends.every time I go I get respect from owners and recevie the best kebabs in town.If you have not been there yet, this is the best place for your next persian food restaurant.The restaurant is very european style with nice outdoor patio.It is cozy and warm and homey with charm and ncie food.you can book your next reservation there to enjoy your good persian food. I had my birthday party there with excellent service.I took my drink and my cake there.They offered me very reasonable price for unlimited appetizer and food for every one.Their food is fresh and tasty.The waitstaffs are very caring.The place is hidden on wilshire but for sure it is a good catch if you want to get quality food with good price.Other saturday night we went there when they had a big event with dancer and guitarist and music.I really suggest every one in LA to try this cute little restaurant. I was a tourist came to LA for short time and i had Persian food there and it was fantastic. We have a lot of good Persian restaurant in Sydney but by far Ruby Room is beyond the expectation. So, we tried this place due to the many rave reviews here, and I'm not sure those people went to the same restaurant! So, I had to write a review to warn everybody.This place used to be called the Pistacio Grill, and it seems that many of the reviewers went there when it was under the old owners who then sold it to a guy who named it the Ruby Room. Of course, I can't comment on the Pistacio Grill, but let me say the Ruby Room is awful! First off we went there on a Saturday night and there was only one couple there besides us which was kinda cool, but now I know why it was so easy to get a table. The food was in small portions, we ordered the kebab and rice and there was barely any rice on the plate, the salad that came with it had this awful dressing and the taste overall was very bland. The yogurt dip tasted like it had been left out and slightly spoiled...should I go on? Can't say that anything we ordered was good. To make matters worse, the place was dirty!! I looked over at the bench I was sitting on and it had a dirty sock on it!!! No joke!! About six inches away from me, should have just left then since that was an indication as to the lack of sanitation of this place. And, the waiter/owner kept putting his thumb in our food as the served it!!! I don't like making scenes or being rude so I didn't say anything but come on now that's gross!! When it came time to pay the bill, it was ridiculously high for the level of service and food we got, total rip! In closing don't believe the other reviewers just pass on this place and go somewhere else!! Unless you enjoy bad service and food.. RUBY ROOM RERAURANT HAS THE BEST KABOB AND THE BEST SALMON IN TOWN. THEY R SO DELICIOUS WITH GOOD QUALITY OF MEAT AND FISH. THE SERVICE IS GREAT. THEY HAVE THE BEST VERIETY OF SLADS AND SOUPS. I am addicted to Ruby room now since I go there a lot. It is near to my work and it is very convenient to be there in 2 minutes. I can get varieties of things including very good sandwiches. They have good Italian and French dishes as well. I have gone at night too. It is very nice and pleasant. I like to take to recommend this place to anybody to try it. The food is presented in such a good quality, I like the service it was quick, friendly and very welcoming. Tahdig is superb with it's 3 different kind of stew... I tried them all and l loved it! It was a magnificent food with excellent service. They have an open menu with varieties of Persian food. I have heard about their quality and I have a friend who orders a lot from this place. We had an office lunch with them the other days with varieties of their sandwiches and kebabs and four kinds of rices which they were amazing. We are trying to book our Christmas party of our office with them now. Every one loved their food. The owner took our order and he sent us some complimentary appetizers as well. The food was perfect. I had the chicken, persian rice, cabbage w/meat, and 2 deserts. Of course I didn't eat it all my self, but I was with a friend and we had to try everything. The owner even brought us a sample of his chicken pasta. All I have to say is that everything was delicious! I'm recommending this place to anyone who needs a catering. And can you believe that all of the food is organic! I was shocked and probably that's why it's soooo good! You have to try it at least once. You'll be hooked... I visited this place with one of my best friend.We had a sandwich and lamb chops and a sea bass plate to share.I can say it was the best seabass and lamb chops that I have ever had.Their portions are huge and generous and the quality is very good.The service is like a 5 star hotel and waiters are professional and sweet.If you are in LA ,you have to try their food for lunch or dinner.Their lunch special menu is very reasonable and fair.I still think by far their foods are different than other places.
