My drain that goes to the main sewer line from my house was backing up. I called the local number and the person who picked up was very professional and courteous, and gave me some info on products RR offered as I told her I suspected tree roots in my line. The plumber arrive about 30 minutes later and got straight to work. He cleared out the drain and even sent a camera down the line and allowed me to watch the video monitor with him as he snaked it through the sewer line. After clearing the tree roots he sent the camera back down the drain to point out a couple of issues with the drain that would need to be replaced. I was impressed and appreciated the detailed view, and now I know what I need to fix. Thank Josh#348!! more

Very prompt, professional serv ice 8/6/2011

We are so glad that someone was available to come out to our house on a Saturday night when all of our drains stopped draining. With one phone call, William #145 came within 20 minutes. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He quickly discovered the problems and went to work immediately. He evaluated all of the drains in our house and worked quickly until each drain was functioning. He payed special attention to keep all areas neat and clean and you would not even know he was here on my brand new carpet and newly refinished hardwood floors. Final cost was exactly as quoted at the beginning of the visit, no hidden fees or last minute add-ons. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I would definitely call again in the future if needed and highly recommend his services to anyone. Thank you. more

my mother-in-law had a plumbing problem on Easter at about 6:00 p.m. joshua # 348 called about 20 minutes after we called Roto-rooter. He arrived when he said he would. Joshua # 348 was very professional in his actions. Even though it was #1 Easter Sunday #2 it was dark outside #3 it was raining. Roto-Rooter needs more employees like Joshua # 348. It was a great experience to a very bad night. Joshua # 348 thank you very much. He did his job the way it is to be done. Joshua # 348 didn't try to sell anything but what had to be done. Excellent Plumber Fixed it Fast Peter the Plumber is the Best Plumber that there is. Peter Quickly Diagnosed the Blocked Sewer line and Ran through with his Snake and Cleared the Blockage Fast. Peter Told it the way it was, and he did not Try to sell us Expensive Solutions. Fixed Fast for a Reasonable Price. Thank You Jacob more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers Service Date 12.27.10 12/30/2010

On Monday, December 27, 2010, my two set tubs in the basement were almost overflowing with water. In spite of the blizzard conditons, the Roto-Rooter rep called and asked if we would like to have the plumbers come that evening, as the plumbers were in Westbury, rather than the next morning when we had scheduled an appointment. I immediately said yes. When the plumbers arrived, they quickly cleared the main line heading out to the street. They were both courteous and professional and I was very happy to have the use of my appliances and utilities again - dishwasher, washer, dryer, sinks and shower. I've used the Hempstead Roto-Rooter before in this home and was very satisfied with the service and would definitely use them again. more

The service tech , Curtis was very professional and knowledgeable. Very polite. would recommend and use again. They were here at the time promised by the customer service rep. The rep was also very knowledgeable and professional. Pros: very prompt , professional service. Cons: cost more
