Working for Royal Mangement was a good opportunity for me,I really enjoyed my time there,the people were professional,friendly and over all a good place to work,I never experienced any major problems,and I would recommend this company . more

The company was a strict place to work,and did not like employees being off work.what I like was the location ,going to and from easy ,over all I enjoyed it and would recommend it more

I really needed a job when I got employed by Royal Management ,it was just what I was looking for ,a pay check.i understood that we had to do collection and loans,but I had a hard time understanding the loans and how they were done ,it was the sum of the digits and the rule of 78s I didn't understand.the customer would get a refund then they could get more money ,it had something to do with how much the customer paid.i like the job but didn't want to make a career out of it.\r more

This is a different type of company than what I have been used to,\r But time off is unlikely to happen,most people need time off ,we have things to do\r Go to get our drivers license renewed,go to the doctors,check on our children ,It may have been just me but.i need a lot of time off and they didn't like me always asking ,\r It was a ok place to work.I would do again.\r more

Royal mangement is a very good company to be employed for \r The company has great hours ,co worker are easy to work with and friendly.\r I really did not work with the loans but I do understand how it works ,customer\r Call or stop in to see if they can get a loan,it's easy to get a loan \r I like working,and learning about finance,I would recommend this \r Company to work for.\r more

I think a lot of people don't understand business ,there looking for a free lunch .\r You have to work hard to get ahead in any company . I try see both sides of a problem and not just what I want. \r Most time people are all trying to do the wright thing ,\r There are self help books that can help ,you can't blame other people for everything .\r Most of my problems were caused by myself,!\r Peace to All ! more

I would agree with Rick. I too worked for one of the offices for this company, I answered to several people including Mr. Belcher and Mr. Gentry both treated me with respect. I will say that you have to give respect to get respect, don't dance around questions do your job and I think many of you who complain here would see things a little bit differently. I had many opportunities for vacation and never missed one, there were also a few times I had no choice but to miss work due a very ill mother and that was never a problem. I enjoyed working for the company. I would still be employed if not for my own personal issues. Hopefully soon I can return to work! more

Let me start off by saying that I have worked for this company and my experience was completely the opposite of what other have stated. I was always treated with respect. All in all this is truly a good company to work for. more

This company is evil, heinous and vile. It is family owned; AP Gentry (owner) is brother in law to Dan Belcher (VP) and the uncle of Matt Belcher (supervisor). Working for such morally bankrupt, unethical, conniving people takes its toll. Not only do they cheat their employees, they totally rip off customers. They expect you to give your life for them, but they never compensate you. You are used and then just thrown away. They lie about everything. They promise you'll be ""rewarded"" but instead you are punished. There are no perks, there are no benefits. The more you do for them, the more they abuse you. The stores are dumpy, shabby buildings with office equipment from the 1980's. The level of training you get is almost non existent. They don't stock office supplies and give you only $30 of petty cash to use for everything you need for one month. Watch out for any business with the name Gentry, Royal Management, Your Credit and Crane Finance. Most of their ""supervisors"" have no clue what to do, except bully and badger employees and customers alike. They go through managers and employees like water through a sieve. Anyone they hire who is truly decent eventually sees through all the nonsense and leaves. If you have a work issue, beware about reporting it. Even though the company handbook states ""No employee will be terminated or have any adverse action taken against them for bringing a complaint to the attention of the home office"" please realize that this is nothing but a LIE. They may not do something to you right away, but eventually they will punish you for doing the right thing, because they think they are superior to everyone. They are vindictive. They harass you for no valid reason. I have lived this, but finally escaped it. I was recently delivered from their hell and even though I was thankful to have a job, I can say that working in a toxic, immoral place like Royal Management is not worth it. They will promise you the world, but only give you pain and lies. God forbid you need any time off for an emergency, funeral or appointment. You will most likely be denied to go, or written up for it if you do. Vacations (if your are full time) are often denied for no reason. These people think they own you. Beware that this company with their 300 some odd stores are all run the same way - Badly. I don't know how these people sleep at night, but I suppose without a soul or conscience it is possible. more

I bet Dan B is Dan Belcher, vice president and part owner of royal management. Another thing, Most of the complaints on here are about the management and training (or lack of) that is given to employees. I first went to work for this company in the mid 80's and from what I'am reading NOTHING has changed. They will cuss you, threaten you with your job and find reasons to disqualify you from bonuses. All people want is to be able to have a job and be treated fairly. YOU WILL NOT GET THAT HERE!!! And THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE!!!!! more

I was extremely surprised to find Royal Management was the parent company of Quick Loan of Utah. This company refuses to give me any kind of summary record of payments made. I spoke with Denise Laque and her exact words were, ""We don't offer that."" I said I wasn't asking her to OFFER it to me, I was specifically requesting a written record of what I had paid. She said they only record I will ever get from them is my receipts. Those receipts do not list what is principal and what is interest, so I'm doubly unhappy with them. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB!!!\r \r I would recommend everyone stay away from this place. more

I used to work for this company for 2 1/2 years. It was crappy pay, and the whole system was ridiculous. Yes it was easy and most of the customers were great. The manager I started off with quit 5 months later, the assistant manager took over and she ended up being arrested for stealing money and making bogus loans. I then started working under a different manager who was the laziest person ever. He thought he was such a hot shot because he's a veteran for the national guard (the lowest ranking in the military). My son was in a car accident and i told him i had to leave, he just sat there and thought about it and said he had to ask his supervisor to see if it was okay.. i could give a damn what either one thought, that is my son! So i left regardless. I ended up losing my child care help and was no longer able to work, so i told my manager i had to quit. He then threatened to stop my paycheck!!! I sure did go off on him. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE for employment. I feel sorry for the new hires. more
