Royal Fireside

I no longer do business with these people, they delivered a pallet but in doing so they backed up into my mail box and broke it at the base bent the metal and the plastic trim around the door broke. This mail box was on a cement base, but I decided to replace it with a ground stake and got a cheaper mail box. When I went over with the receipt the owner said he will take care of it. Well two weeks gone by and all I heard is the check is in the mail. I finally got the check for $26 and change but they refused to pay for the rest. Not a place to do business with. What goes around comes around! more

bought a wood fireplace insert from Royal Fireside. I used for about a month when the door gasket became frayed. I called and they said it was a known defective design and that the manufacturer had not used the appropriate high temperature tape. They promised to order a new gasket because they had taken care of the warranty on my behalf when I purchased. They claimed to have encountered a number of gasket problems with the same model insert. However, it is now 6 months later and they still claim to have ordered the part for me, but I still don't have it. The chimney sweep stopped by to clean my chimney and told me that the gaskets are easy to get. Hence, although I had recommended Royal Fireside to a few friends and they had purchased from them, I no longer recommend. Beware of these guys. They take your money but aren't too concerned about customer satisfaction. more
