5 STARS (again)\r This weekend is the second time I've needed to have our aging sewer lines serviced in the past few years, and the only reason I called Roto-Rooter again is because I had a very good experience with them the last time they rescued my basement. I was not disappointed this time either. Jack is THE MAN! My experience is that the Roto-Rooter technicians are professional, knowledgeable, honest, and experienced. And FAST. I didn't have to wait around all day on a Saturday for someone to show up. He asked me a couple questions about the plumbing and showed me where I can improve things to prevent future issues. Even my two German Shepherds liked him. Jack went above and beyond. Thanks Jack! more

Great experience!!... We needed a plumber immediately, after calling another plumber (mr rooter) in the middle of the night who confirmed they'd be there within the hour... never showed up, and refused our calls in the morning after us waiting 8 hours, we called the Roto-rooter plumber in Rochester. The plumber (Jack) was there within the hour. He was great. He gave a thorough assessment of the situation an gave us our options and all possible outcomes of what we were dealing with. He was very polite, efficient, experienced and even cleaned up afterward. He gave great suggestions to try to avoid our back up from happening again. I would give roto-rooter 10 stars if possible, and I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family.. There's nothing better than dealing with a company who not only knows what they are doing, but also sends someone who can communicate well with a struggling family in need of help. Thank you!! more

My name is William Wilson 213 Michigan Street Rochester, New York - I received service to unclog my basement sewer drain. Invoice # 181592 on 03/28/2016. Mr. John McDermott came on 03/27/2016 originally and spent 3.5 hrs using a snake which did not solve the problem He explained the various options, apologized for not completing the job but guaranteed to return the next morning. John was courteous, friendly and was successful by using a Jet Spray method. We unfortunately are making arrangements to eulogize our daughter and this problem was very stressful. John was compassionate and empathized with our sorrow. We have used Roto-Rooter services several years and we are very pleased. more

I had a clogged kitchen drain on New Years Eve of all days! I was in the need of emergency services for my mother-in-law's home and Roto- Rooter was able to be out within 2 hours! From office staff to service technician, very professional and helpful! My daughter is coming in to town and we are looking at a full house for the holidays so I washed everything in sight. When I went to change over a load from the washer to the dryer, I stepped on my VERY WET rug in my finished basement! I called for help and a very nice woman scheduled my service and told me she would call when someone was on the way. She called me back in a couple of hours and Charles Merritt from Roto- Rooter arrived soon after. HE was terriffic!!!! He is professional, fast, friendly and courteous. He fixed my problem in a hurry and was on his way. Thanks to Charles and Roto-Rooter! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers. Our shower drain backed up, and the tub drain had already been having problems. I called several plumbers in Rochester, but none could take care of me that day. When I called Roto-Rooter they have a plumber at my house within about an hour. Derek came out and provided service that was professional and quick. He even cleaned up afterward so you wouldn't know a plumber had been there. I would recommend their services to others, especially if you need prompt attention.\r more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers \r \r I had my sewer back up into my yard from an overflow pipe, and needed a plumber quick! My dogs were out there drinking the leak and we couldn't use anything in our house, sinks, dishwasher, washer, toilet... I live near Rochester and know Roto-Rooter name from commercials, etc. I called them and they came the same day, showed up when promised. Derrick was super polite, explained what we needed and got to work. He stayed after dark to make sure our pipe was clear, which wasn't easy. He got the job done, had a sense of humor about it and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks Roto-Rooter. you rock. more

We had a plumbing issue this week as older homes often do. Finding a reliable, efficient and clean plumber can be difficult. Luckily, we called roto rooter in Rochester. We have used them before and have always been happy with service. This time, Derrich arrived in under an hour! He was knowledgeable, efficient, clean and a very nice guy. My plumber, Derrick, was very friendly and offered a senior discount. I will ask for him for our next septic cleaning. Making the appointment and finding a convent date was simple. They had a problem with their truck engine but kept me informed on the repair process which I really appreciated! All went well and we are good as new...for a few more years!\r \r Thank you for the wonderful service. This Rochester company is the best. Call them! more

This company is FANTASTIC! We were panicked with an estimate from ""Company A"" to the tune of $6,500 for excavation. We called Roto-Rooter for a second estimate and what a difference! Both companies used a camera and sensor, but their diagnosis was VERY different. Roto-Rooter solved the problem without creating a major overhaul of our storm drains, pipes and yard. They jetted the lines, re-camera'd the pipes and continued all the way around the house. No major issues found!!! The guys were so considerate and respectful and talked me through the entire process. I would HIGHLY recommend them for ANY plumbing job as I am confident they do the job, rather than gauge the client. more

Jack was extremely efficient, found the blockage in the pipe, snaked the problem and then left! We had never used Roto-Rooter before that fateful Sunday, and won't hesitate to use them again!
