Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Very careful about muddy boots (rained real hard just before he arrived), evaluated quickly, made the easy attempt. Last November our sewer backed up and roto rooter came out, then again in January, then again in March. The January and the March visits were at no cost to me even though it was on Sunday. What great service! Today Carl came out with a camera. He was very helpful. After giving me the bad news about needing sewer pipe work in the backyard, he told me about the program in Ballwin that reimburses work up to $3,000. Only a flood under my kitchen sink could get me to clean out cabinets on my day off! Picture this...dishwasher full and running and dishes soaking in the sink. I see water running out of the sink cabinet and across the floor 10 feet to the back door. I called Roto-Rooter as soon as I got the water stopped and they said they would be out within 2 hours. A few minutes later I got a call that Steve would be at my house within 45 minutes. Steve called and confirmed the address and was here before 45 minutes. The pipe leak was an easy and quick repair but as Steve was checking his work he noticed the drain was clogged and repaired that as well! I will call them again if have ANY plumbing issue. Steve was pleasant, informative, neat and made a BAD situation almost pleasant! more

We had our sewer back up into our basement late in the evening on 3/14. The next morning I started calling around for estimates to "unclog" us. Roto-Rooter was my first call and ended up being comparably priced. Not to mention they had a plumber at my house within the hour. Jim was very efficient, friendly, and professional. He snaked through our clog, hosed down the area and squeegeed the floor, leaving me with little to no "sewage" to clean up. All I had to do was wash it down with bleach. I was very pleased with the service Terry Gust provided. I initally request them for an interior drain problem and thanks to them they found the problem was exterior. He ran a camera through our clean out and found the problem was there, not under my basement! I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks! more

My husband broke our hot water shut off valve while replacing our kitchen faucet. We called on Sunday evening and the repairman was here first thing on Monday morning. The repairman was VERY nice and efficient. He was here and gone in about 30 minutes with all the work done and an estimate given for future work. While having a new clothes washer installed the cold water hose spigot in the house plumbing broke due to excessive corrosion shooting water all over the laundry room. Had a backed up kitchen sink for the third time in three years. Called out my favorite Roto-Rooter guy and he snaked the line. Very professional and of course courteous. He was a little leary of the plumbing under the sink and suggested I have a plumber look at it. The kitchen was remodeled and the plumbing looked a little rigged up. We also discovered a leak in the crawl space. Have scheduled a Roto-Rooter plumber to come out and take a look. Free estimate so why not. ON THANKSGIVING DAY I CALLED ROTO-ROOTER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD ME THAT THE TECHNICIAN WOULD BE THERE IN ONE HOUR. HE WAS THERE WITHIN 15 MINUTES. WHILE MY SON CALLED ME FROM UPSTAIRS TO COME DOWN AND HELP HIM WITH THE DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM TOILET, AS I WAS COMING DOWN THE STAIRS, THERE WAS A FLOOD IN MY HALLWAY. MY SON WAS CLEANING UP THE WATER WITH THE CARPET CLEANER AND I TURNED THE WATER OFF IN THE BATHROOM AND DOWN IN THE BASEMENT. I CALLED ROTO-ROOTER AND THE PLUMBER, GARY #30 WAS OUT TO MY APARTMENT COMPLEX WITHIN 15 MINUTES. HE WAS VERY KIND AND EXPLAIN WHAT PROCEDURE HE WAS GOING TO PERFORM. I needed to have my sewer line inspected with a camera to determine if it needed repairs. Jeff, the Roto-Rooter tech arrived promptly and explained the process and what he was doing. He was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. His equipment was first rate, and after scoping the sewer line it was determined that a small repair was necessary, but not urgent.
