I needed a plumber in Rochester on a Sunday morning-great way to start the day. I called Roto-Rooter and had a plumber within a few hours. Jacob was extremely knowledgable, diagnosed and explained the problem and fixed the problem. I would DEFINITELY use Roto-Rooter again for plumbing problems in the future. more

Great Service & Value! Called Mr. Rooter first and they were rude on the phone. Called Roto Rooter of Rochester and got a pleasant receptionist and a plumber that came 45 mins before quoted. The plumber Jacob knew the problem right away and gave us a good quote. He had the problem fixed within an hour. I was very happy with the prompt and thorough service we got!! more

We had a problem in our basement with a drain and we called a plumber for service. Within an hour Jack arrived and fixed our problem. He knew exactly what needed to be done. He was very informative and once he was finished, he repeated the step one more time to make sure it was completely taken care of. We appreciated all the time and service Jack put into it..and we will definetely be using Roto-Rooter of Rochester!! Thank you! more

We called in the evening on a Sunday with water in the basement. We were contacted back within 10 mins and a serviceman was to our house in less than 20 mins. Our serviceman, Jack, was friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did he do a thorough job but he explained every step of the way. He provided us with information on the on-going care of our pipes and what to keep an eye out for in the future. Best service around! Thanks Jack! more

Fast and Friendly 4/14/2012

I had a problem with my sewer pump and drainage. I called Roto-Rooter on a Saturday and they came within a hour. Once the tech. got to my house he started working right away. He explained everything he was doing which was wonderful. He snaked my pipes and made sure everything was working before he left. I would highly recommend this company to everyone. The Rochester plumber had to fix the leak in our outdoor faucet and our basement shut-off valve. The replacement valve leaked, but he came back to fix properly. The bonus was educating my husband in winter shut off procedures! more

I just bought a new home in Rochester a week ago and my kitchen sink was clogged. I didn't know who to call but when I searched for a plumber online, I found Roto-Rooter was highly rated and I needed someone fast. I called and was very pleased at the response I got and the professionalism of the plumber. He came in here and knew the problem right away and he fixed it without it costing me a fortune. I was so happy with the price and the service. I would recommend them 100%. more

WOW! 3/2/2012

We had a water leak at our shut-off under our mobile home. All other plumbers wanted $75-$150 to just come out and ""diagnose"" the problem. I may not be a plumber, but I am not an idiot either, we had a leak at our shut-off valve, plain and simple. Roto-Rooter arrived, diagnosed the problem and prepared a statement of the cost at NO CHARGE. I then had the decision on whether or not to proceed. The price was reasonable and Joe Sewar completed the work on the spot. I had always avoided calling Roto-Rooter as I was under the misconception that they would be expensive, but I was wrong. Everyone at Roto-Rooter was pleasant from the woman who took my call to schedule service through Joe the service tech. He was very personable and we had a couple of laughs as well. Thank you Joe!! more

We had a water leak in our front yard. Called several plumbers in the Rochester area and the only one that even called us back was Roto-Rooter. They came out within the hour, gave us an estimate, started work the next day,completed the job by 2pm, and had our water back on. The technicians were very courteous and the estimate much less than we expected to pay. more

Our septic was full oand over flowing into the basement. My wife and I, didn't want any of those "" fly by night "" plumbing. So we called the company that all our friends comfirmed was the best. ROTO-ROOTER. Bill and Chris came over right away, assest the problem, and gave us a clear idea of what we were looking at. Chris also helped us with the aid of his boss, on the financial end. We would highly recomend Roto-Rooter to all our family and friends. Great Job Guys ! more

My kitchen sink drain was seriously plugged, and all attempts to fix it myself failed. For the first time in my life I actually had to call in a plumber, so called Roto-Rooter's Rochester number. Joe showed up about 90 minutes after I called (earlier than promised - they called to ask if he could come sooner than previously arranged). Quick and efficient, he did a survey of the plumbing, provided his quote, then went to work after approval. The drain now flows like brand new. THANKYOU! In addition to clearing the drain, Joe also took the time to give me a little coaching on recommended plumbing adjustments I can make myself to assure trouble-free operation in the future. Free advice isn't always offered, and I considered this above-and-beyond what he needed to do for me. more

Roto-Rooter's employees are GREAT 12/29/2011

Hi,\r Monday I called Roto-Rooter, about a plugged drain in my basement. Tuesday Dan the Plumber came and after working on the drain for 3 hrs. decided it was all in vain, and called Timothy and said if anyone could solve my problem it would be him...So Wednesday they both came back again and were still having problems clearing the drain. But would they give up? NO WAY!!\r They were about to leave when they decided to try one more thing. Timothy crawled under my porch in 17 degree weather on his hands and knees and discoved that the vent to my drains had a rock stuck in it , and was able to clear it and then just as they finished all the electric on the street went out. But they finished the job and kept a postive attitude all the while. They also advised me that in the Spring they would come back and raise the Vent Pipe for me so that the dirt and other objects would not be able to get into the vent. I just want to thank both Dan and Timothy for all their hard work, and for saving me a lot of money. I will recomend them to all my family and friends. more
