Roto-Rooter Plumbers 09/30/2013\r We had an emergency that occurred late on a Sunday where all of the drains were backing up into the house. I called the Tampa location up on Monday morning and they were able to send a plumber out within a couple of hours of my call. \r \r Petrit, our plumber/technician was fantastic. He was very professional and personal and did a fine job of not only taking care of the problem, but he also explained everything that he needed to do and made sure that I not only understood what needed to be done but that we agreed with each other on the service.\r \r Emergencies are never cheap, but, given the time he took with us and the response time, it was well worth the cost.\r \r I would recommend these guys for any plumbing needs.\r \r Sean S.\r Tarpon Springs, FL more

I had an emergency situation on a holiday. Most places were charging fees for service, but not Roto-Rooter. A technician came out, he was very professional, informative and nice. He found what was wrong and gave me suggestions. He even worked on our kitchen pipes for a discount because he knew he couldn't fix it for good. He was also very aware of keeping the house clean though he was in and out working on the pipes. \r \r The only thing I felt could be improved is the price. I spent about $500 for them to unclog my bathroom pipes (though they did have roots growing in them) and to work on the kitchen pipes. I was then quoted $2000 to replace my bathroom pipes. These amounts were a bit unreal to me. \r \r I also had to wait much longer than the original window I had been told as they were running behind. As it was a holiday, I didn't care as I needed it done (only one bathroom in our house of 3 people, no bueno). \r \r Overall, they were great, just a bit out of budget for me. more

On 09/03/2013 we had company over from out of state. As luck would have it the guest toilet stat starts backing into the bathtub. I googled Roto Rooter called them the girl on the phone was very nice she understood my situation and within one hour there was a truck in my driveway. The service tech was very nice he explained everything including the charges before beginning the work. After my approval he went right to work concerned about keeping the work area clean you would never know there was a plumber in the house. We experienced a main sewer blockage in our home on Sunday, May 11th, Mother's Day. I was reluctant to call a plumber on a Sunday that was also a special Holiday. I searched the internet and was impressed with the Roto-Rooter information available and called. The woman who answered the phone assured me there would be no extra charge for coming out on Sunday and there was no change for the service call. They would give me a quote and I could decide if I wanted the service. I was told they would be at my home within four hours. A very nice service man named Mark showed up an hour after my phone call. He assessed the situation and gave me a quote. I agreed to have the work done. Mark was professional, pleasent and did the work with a cheerful attitude. Once the job was competed I gave him a $40.00 off coupon from the internet and he accepted it with no hesitation or problem. He left the bathroms cleaned up, you could not tell he had even been at my home. I now have someone I will call for all of my plumbing needs. Great job, great service, and I ended up having a great Mother's Day. more

I was really very pleased with my service call. Even with it being Sunday, Rob arrived not long after I called. He immediatly set my mind at ease, I was in good hands. We had two toilets that I had worked on myself to stop the running water in the bowl. I spent two hours a week for the past month and could not figure out a way to fix the leak along with purchasing parts for the toilets. I finally got tired of messing with the toilets and contacted Roto-Rooter and they were able to setup an appointment the following day. Mark Jordan was the service technician (Tech# 466) and was very knowledgeable and an easy person to talk to. He assessed the problems made suggestions and provided a very good estimate. He fixed the problem on both toilets and my wife and I are very satisfied with the work he provided. He had also made suggestions for the future in preventing any future problems in our toilets. I would definitely use Roto-Rooter for any other plumbing issues. I will make sure the people I work with at MacDill AFB and friends know how knowledgeable, courteous and the awesome work the local Tampa Roto-Rooter company provided us!!!!! more

We had an exterior irrigation PVC leak that I only made worse by attempting to ""repair"" it myself. We finally called our local Roto-Rooter after hours and a service person promptly arrived to get our irrigation line functioning properly again. The plumber technican was thorough in performing the needed repair and even advised on how we could protect the piping to avoid future line breakages. Thank you Roto-Rooter for your wonderful work!!! I had a blocked drain which was starting to backup at 10 pm. Went to the internet for a local plumber and setup a morning appointment. Got an online confirmation of the appointment and a phone call confirming things in the morning. They were there first thing, on time and had things resolved in 40 minutes. The service fee was fair and reasonable. It’s nice surprise to have normal, friendly, professional service people come to your home and do a great job. Tampa Bay Roto Rooter Rocks ! more

What was turning out to be a pretty crappy day ended up being not quite so bad due to the plumber Matt out of Tampa! \r A sparkling personality right from the start made me feel comfortable and he was extremely thorough in taking the time to explain everything to me, and even beyond a bit! He gave me some ""reasonings"" behind the problems and I truly appreciated that. His appearance was neat and clean, he was very personable and knowledgable and professional throughout the service. The ""diagnosis"" (I am a registered nurse, so had to throw that one in ha!) was right on and he finished the repairs in a timely manner and I am very much pleased!\r Ok, heres the ""kicker""! Like having to call a plumber out isnt bad enough on the ole checkbook, in the middle of his work we were chatting a bit and I guess I jinxed myself mentioning at least it wasnt our air conditioning, which has had to be repaired 5 times in last few years! Yep, you guessed it , while he was here working, the air went out. I absolutely couldnt believe it! So here I am, plumber here already, and on the phone calling for someone to come check out our air unit! \r I guess what I am trying to say is, after all that (and the ""gulp"" cost of the air repair again!), my service and repair and cost of my plumbing from Roto-Rooter didnt seem bad at all, nope, not bad at all! (Matt can vouch for this and tell you I am speaking true!)\r So a hearty THANK YOU to Roto-Rooter of Tampa and Matt in particular for making such a difference for me and making this not so good day turn out just alittle bit brighter! \r Kudos! more

After trying for 3 days to unclog the kitchen drain and wasting money on my DIY attempts, I gave in and called Roto-Rooter. Sean was at my door within the hour and had the problem fixed in no time. Good plumbing service is hard to find, but I found one with Roto-Rooter! Sean (the plumber) was very professional and did a fantastic job. He worked very hard to fix our plumbing issue. Due to a difficult clog in one of our pipes Sean had to call in his field Manager Mike (Who showed up immediately) and they went above and beyond to fix our pipes and thoroughly explain our options. We just recently had our hot-water tank rupture this past week along with no AC. It was 4:00 p.m. on Monday, when I discovered water in my enclosed front porch, dining room, and utility room. I immediately shut off the hot-water tank and called the Roto-Rooter Pluming & Drain Service at 5020 Tampa West Blvd, Tampa, Fl. A service man, Rob, was out to my house within two hours. He installed a new tank and a drain system to the outside, which was not there previously, and left about 1:00 a.m. We had hot water that night and were able to take showers; since our air conditioning had been out too. Rob, along with the AC man, were there early the next morning to finish the job. The plumber, Rob, was very courteous, and guaranteed we would have water for showers that night. I would definitely call Roto-Rooter Service again if I have any problems in the future. more

Our kitchen drain backed up late Friday night. After doing everything a non-plumber can do, we called Roto-Rooter first thing Saturday morning. They promised to have a plumber out within 45 minutes. 35 mintues later, Rob (76) arrived, reviewed the steps we had already taken to try to correct the problem, then determined the next course of action. Within the hour, he had our drain cleared. Excellent service! more

We had a clogged kitchen sink. We set up an appointment online and received a call back in about half an hour. We had a plumber come to our house within an hour. Our Plumber Mike was knowledgeable and friendly. He asked a few questions and then gave us a quote. He unclogged the drain and installed a garbage disposal. The connection of the garbage disposal to the drain line was a little tricky, but he worked at it until we were both satisfied. He was efficient and wanted to provide good service. more
