Set up an appointment for a 2 hour window in the evening...they were late but they did call to let me know they were behind. I had a leak that was above my kitchen ceiling from a shower upstairs. I had an access panel outside but the technician wanted to cut thru my ceiling until I said I would just go with a different plumber. He then said he could get a ladder and use the outside panel...which he did and was able to find the problem in less than 15 minutes...however, it took an hour and a half to put it back together...he did not explain why it took so long to do so...He was very nice and I appreciated the fact that you offered evening hours but will probably try another business next time.\r more

Sunday appointment no problem, repair person was on time, did thorough work with quality parts, very satisfied. Replaced bathroom sink drain plunger and cleared out a slow sink and tub. more

Jovon Allen did a great job fixing a sewer backup into my basement on a Sunday! He explained everything clearly, accurately billed based on the time he spent fixing everything as was very patient with my inquisitive father. He even spoke with owner of the adjoining condo to notify him to check his own basement. He did a great job! The dispatcher was also very friendly and kept us updated on the timeline for service. Our kitchen sink and dishwasher were backing up late one night, and we were able to call \r \r after hours and get someone in to fix it within only an hour. He gave a free estimate on \r \r the spot, which was awesome. Then he was able to find the clog, clear it, and he even \r \r tightened the fittings and replaced a cracked seal on one of the pipes. BEWARE: CONTRACT CLEARLY STATES IF SERVICE NOT DONE ON CONTRACT NEW CONTRACT IS TO BE WRITTEN. THIS WAS NOT DONE AND THEY BASICALLY STOLE MONEY FROM ME FOR WORK THAT WAS NOT DONE. Worse Service I have ever had. They charged me 1200 to replace the downspout from the sump discharge to the corner of the house. There was already a hole in the ground where there was a crack in the downspout and that was pointed out to Service Rep. I arrived home after work was done and noticed no ground was dug up except the dirt right at the discharge. Called rep and he said that he did not know what they did but if they didn't do what was on the contract it did not need to be fixed he will call me back in the morn. No call back. Put in complaint with roto rooter talked to George Mays he gave me half my money back (mind you after I complained and they collected the 2nd half after the work was done, a check was left at the door). Excellent and fast service. A bathroom sink was clogged and the water backed up into both sinks. Within an hour of my call, John was out to fix it. He was courteous, fastidious, and was most helpful in explaining what he was doing. The quote was reasonable and I found a $40 coupon on the website. That made it even better. He was done within 30 minutes and the sinks are working well. more

Roto-Rooter responded very quickly to our request. They were here within 2 hours of our call to them. The service man was very detailed in his description of what needed to be done. He answered all of my questions and didnt make me feel stupid for not knowing a lot. He was very friendly to my children as well. The quote was high at $355 but he had to take the toilet completely off and bring in the big shop vac to unclog the problem. more

F/U customer service was excellent. They went over and above board to make me a happy customer. Thank you!!!! Sched service to have main line cleaned out as water was beginning to back up. Plumber did not make any effort to cover and protect area. Found carpet and surrounding area covered with stains and mud splattered from back splash and roots. Also, he didn't secure the drain cover properly allowing a bad sewer smell to spread through the house. As for price, I thought the initial quote high $316. Am I satisfied with the work done? I will reserve judgment based on how long and how well this repair lasts. What I liked most about this experience was the convenience of sched an appt online and having the plumber showing up within 30 minutes of the sched start time. Columbus, Ohio. more

Arrived promptly. Reviewed situation. Suggested that we might qualify for senior discount, but determined that our onlne coupon was a better deal. Got everything opened and checked for leaks. more

They did a decent job, but the prices were almost three times what an individually-owned business charged me to replace a broken drain pipe. They also didn't realize my home had absolutely no leach bed when they did install the pipe, but the person I ended up calling to replace the piple the next year (wouldn't have needed it if RR had checked things out) knew something was wrong, so he checked further. This is how I knew I had no leach bed. He replaced the entire system, minus the tank, for a bit over $3000, a job that RR had told me would cost $30,000-60,000 if I needed it done. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless they were the only choice. more
