If you are looking for a GREAT plumber that is straight with you and tells you like it is, then call Roto-Rooter!!!! I dealt with a man by the name of Jemo and he was the first HONEST plumber I have EVER dealt with. I had been dealing with Bishop Plumbing, in Des Plaines, until they tried to take advantage of me!!! Jemo came out and listened to my "horror" stories regarding the OTHER plumber and analyzed the problem, quoted me a price and stuck to it. There were no hidden add-ons at the end of the job. There was no "emergency trip fees". There were no "traveling expense fees". There was ONE fee and that was quoted up front!!!!!!! This guy was spectular. He was at my house for almost two hours, but he checked and re-checked his work to make sure that everything was flowing properly BEFORE he left; and he even took the call to come to my house when he was supposed to be on his way home for the day!!!!! He did in ONE visit what the OTHER plumber couldn't do in TWO visits AND the other plumber charged me up the nose and TRIED to charge me on the SECOND visit for some work that DID NOT need to be done. Had the OTHER plumber done the job CORRECTLY, I wouldn't have had to call Roto-Rooter. But I am actually glad that I did. I just found my NEW plumber - thanks, indirectly, to my OLD plumber. Roto-Rooter did the trick 12/2/2010

My kitchen sinked had been backed up for days. I called a local handyman, used liquid stuff, etc. but nothing worked. I called Roto-Rooter at 8am on a Saturday morning. A guy was at my house about an hour later and the problem was solved within an hour. Quick, professional service. Would recommend them highly. more

Roto- Rooter Plumbers 10-29-10 10/31/2010

When our basement floor drain backed up, we knew just who to call - Roto Rooter Plumbers in Waukegan, IL. They were out to the house in the time promised and did an excellent job snaking the drain and cleaning out 2 clogged areas from tree roots. The field supervisor and technician then snaked the entire drain with a camera to show us where pipe cracks were in the line and gave us options and an estimate for consideration to remedy the problem in the future. Overall, great service and money well spent for this call. more

Getting In The Flow Again 10/11/2010

With a stopped up bathroom drain, my wife was very unhappy. I learned the hard way over the years to not risk damaging pipes with harsh drain cleaners. I also learned the hard way over the years how outrageous plumber fees can be. Fortunately, we had a Roto-Rooter experience that was fast and inexpensive to guide us. My wife called, and they sent someone within the hour! We almost didn't have time to get ready. The representative was extremely courteous, efficient, and careful with our property. Even our dogs liked him. He took care of everything in a few minutes with outstanding results, for less than our last plumbing fee two years ago for a similar job. We're in the flow again!! more

ROTO-ROOTER 8/30/2010

My basement floor drain was clogged, not only was it clogged but all the water from everyplace in the house was coming up through my basement floor......I called my brother and asked him what company I should call he said Roto Rooter...this was 6:30 p.m......I called the operator said she could have someone out it 2 hours......that in it self was music to my ears.....and just as she said in 2 hours a technition came out his name was Jullian.....Jullian explained that I had a overhead system and all of the water. and waste went to the ejection pump and out to the street...I learrned something that I never knew...he also told me NOT what throw down the toilet like dental floss...He was so informative and patient with all of my questions and may I add also handsome.....If I have a promblem in the future I most definetly will call Roto-rotter Thank You Linda MIko more

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service 7/29/2010

We usually use (used) a local plumming company to come service our pipes and drainage..etc. Last two times we called them we didn't get a call back for two or three days and that was after numerous calls. Our basement was flooding and we really needed someone here quick. All it took was for me to call Roto-Rooter and within a couple of hours they fixed my problem and not only that but the way they treat the customers from the time of the call to the end of the whole process, its amazing. Just to add a note, after 3 days the other company called me to find out what i needed and my answer was "for them to erase me off their list"....Julian was my plumber..he is the best...Thank you Roto-Rooter!! I have used Roto-Rooter Plumbers from Waukegan, IL in the past for many of my plumbing needs. They have always been very professional with prompt and reliable service. Although they tend to be expensive, they guarantee their work and do a phenominal job. Today they helped my with a backed-up drain, but I have used them for installing new plumbing (in this old house) in the bathroom and kitchen. I highly reccommend using Milenko or Kemal as both plumbers have been the epitome of what I would expect from a plumber!!! Pros: Quick Reliable Service! more

Today we just had pluming service and the minute we called them they came right away. They did their job really well and fast. I would recommend this to everyone. One thing that i didn't like about Roto-Rooter is that it is kind of over price but they did a GREAT JOB. When anyone needs a plumber around Waukegan IL, Roto-Rooter will be the BEST company to call ! Pros: The service was really fast ! Cons: The prices are really high ! more
