Needed to snake a plugged sewer drain, after video found a line break. Replaced entire line to street. Very friendly workers, hard workers and pipe work seemed good. They did track quite a lot of waste through the house and were not great with the follow up after work was completed. more

I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers for the first time on 9/8/12 to request service for a leaky toilet with a broken flushing mechanism. They were able to come out later the same day (Sat.) and Mark, the plumber, repaired/replaced the broken parts in about one hour. He was very professional and did an excellent job. I would definitely use this service again.! more

I've relied on Roto-Rooter for all my plumbing needs for the past 5 years. I've been fortunate to have the same plumber for each visit. Mark has done such a fine job that I have referred my neighbors to Roto-Rooter for their repairs. I have been pleased with the timely response to my calls and with Mark's explanation of the problem and the plan to do the repairs as well as the time required. The interaction between the customer and the plumber is a unique practice which makes Roto-Rooter a leader in the business. One suggestion: the portable credit card reader and electronic device could be upgraded. I noticed that a lot of time passed before the billing cycle was completed. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers, April 28, 2012 4/28/2012

Our kitchen sink would not drain at all, so we called Roto-Rooter Plumbers in Minneapolis on a Saturday. Within a couple of hours, they had someone out working on the problem. The technician was very efficient and helpful and fixed the problem within a short time. He also gave us some good info on how to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again to fix any plumbing problem. more

Bathroom sink 4/10/2012

The shut off valve under our sink was dripping a lot and starting to rust out. Water was starting to damage the cabinet and title on the floor. Roto Rooter came to our rescue, although it was a bit prices to fix for a person like me on a limited income each month, i had it done. Angelo B in MPLs, 4/10/2012. more

Friendly, thorough and prompt service 3/26/2012

After flooding my basement by putting too much in the garage disposal, Roto Rooter came to the rescue within an hour (on a Sunday night, no less). The tech (Mark Hiegel) was friendly and courteous. He was careful about tracking water/dirt through our house, and gave me helpful future advice about what not to put down our disposal. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 3-23-2012 3/24/2012

I called Roto-Rooter because it was a familiar family plumber name when growing up. I called this one in Minneapolis. I thought it was a good choice. They came out in 20 minutes to give me an estimate on a water heater and the main reason: the leaky pipe. He found the leak right away and began sawing away at the sheetrock. He wiped the rag across the pinhole leak which had the sheetrock soaking wet. While water kept dripping on his head, he continued working and was prepared for the next project of sawing the old galvanized steel pipe, removing it and sawing the new copper pipe to fit. He had all the tools to do the job, and what great talent as he removed another old pipe at my request so I wouldn't have to remodel my basement cubby hole in case there was another leak. He replaced the main with fittings and also 16 feet of old pipe with new. This all took 3 hours and was reasonably priced. I would call him again for any new leaks! more

Drain Cleaning 3/5/2012

I called to get my toliet drained cleaned out - we had tried everything to clear it and we knew there was probably a toy in there. Dennis showed up within 2 hours of my call right at the BEGINNING of the window of time I was told on the phone. He was able to remove the plastic bouncy ball and have everything back together in less than an hour. I will definetly calling again if we have more toys in the toliet! more

Roto Rooter Plumbers 2/27/2012

I live in the Minneapolis area (Bloomington) and needed a plumber to clear our main line. We have large tree in our front yard and the roots need to be cleared from the line going out to the street every year or two. We have had Roto Rooter out twice over the past five years for this service and both times they were able to come right away, completed the job in under an hour, and were very friendly. I gave four stars due to the price. I have talked to others who have had the same job done for considerably less so we may try somewhere else next time. On service alone, I would give five stars. more

Roto-Rooter to the rescue! 2/14/2012

We called Roto-Rooter because mom and dad had both toliets not working in their home. The plumber from Roto-Rooter was out in less then an hour. He was such a nice guy and treated my parents so well. He had both toliets fixed, cleaned out the drain in the laundry room and spot checked any other areas that could be a problem before he left. He even cleaned up after himself. You would of never known that he had been there! We would call him back for any future problems that they run into. more

I called because my garbage disposal wasn't working. They sent a technician rather than a plumber from the Minneapolis location and he tried everything he could think of to unplug my disposal. It was decided that I needed a new garbage disposal but I was disappointed that he didn't have one on his truck so I'll need to schedule another appointment. more

Roto Rooter Plumbing 12/20/2011

We had clogged drain, and a leaky pipe in the bathroom sink. I called at 9:30, and Roto Rooter was able to send out a technician by 12:00. He was very friendly, willing to explain the problem and the fix, and did the job well. I am satisfied with the work, although the bill was more than I expected. more

Fast and Fairly Priced! 11/19/2011

We called the Minneapolis Roto Rooter at 9 pm on a weeknight they were at our house in Edina 1/2 hour later and had the problem solved by 10 pm! Their price for the service was competitive with all other advertisements. I was very impressed that they were speedy, friendly and competitively priced. For a plumber or any other plumbing needs, I would definitely call them again! more

Plumbing problems 11/9/2011

I called Roto-Rooter and they were able to send someone out on a weekday evening. Very convenient and they showed up promptly at the time that was scheduled. Terry was the technician. He was very friendly, explained the problems to me and fixed it within an hour. I've had Roto-Rooter come out to my home twice now and they have been very dependable. I will definitely call them again!!! more

Quick, professional service! 10/27/2011

I tried not to panic when I saw my floor drain overflowing in my laundry room. I checked the Minneapolis yellow pages for plumbers and decided to call Roto-Rooter. The person I spoke with was courteous and professional and was able to send someone within the hour. Mark was very professional and took some time to check out the situation before providing me with a written estimate. He completed the job within the budget. I would definitely choose Roto-Rooter in the future. more
