I live in Haines City and purchased a house almost two years ago. It was built in 1960. One year later I had to have my septic tank pumped and I thought that it was possible, so I did. Almost a year later 3/29/12 it was needed again, but, I thought that there had to be something else wrong. Knowing that there have been lots of roots seen in the back yard that maybe the front yard had the same and needed to be removed from the piping for the septic system. I hesitated, but, found Roto Rooter (hesitated out of fear a large company would rake me over the coals) on Sunday afternoon I made an online appointment and in a couple hours I got a phone call, to confirm the time and date, in fact they offered me faster service that the online did. We made the appointment for 3/29/12. Still a little fearful, I received a phone call asking if it was still okay for the service man to come out and said he would be here in about 40 minutes. That was great to know rather than sit around and wait not knowing when they would be here. When the tech arrived, Hunter, my fears were quickly subsided. Hunter was a respectful and very knowledgeable young man and not afraid to work. He explained the system and the possilities in a language that was like talking to a friend. He did not talk with lingo that only a plumber or septic employee would understand. Fifteen minutes after Hunter arrived, I felt like I was talking to a friend. Hunter explained the best case scenario and the worst case scenario in this situation. He explained what he could do today to fix the problem and what the results would be and he explained the long term results. He explained how I could save money and what may or may not happen with the different choices of service they offered. Hunter took the time to explain, answer questions and make me feel that he was here for me and what was best for me and not to sell, sell, sell. He gave me all of my options in writing with detail and pricing. When he left, I felt like a friend was leaving. Hunter was a man of quality and servce. He represented Roto-Rooter as a company of quality and service. Which is not synonymous with with business' these day. I recommend Roto Rooter from Combee Road and I recommend Hunter. Hunter restored my faith in the fact that there are still business' and people who do care about you and not just the money. Thanks Hunter and Roto Rooter! more

This company "Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain" doesn't appear to be that company at all. When I did some research in to this company's physical address, I found that "Sunstate Plumbing" is actually at this address NOT "Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain". This could be an honest mistake, or it could be something more sinister, I don't know. I'd definitely ask them with about it with a bit of skepticism. more

We called Roto-Rooters pluming at in the early afternoon just a few days shy of Christmas. Needless to say, I was not expecting outstanding service or quick availability. They had someone out that day, and Tony was a pleasure. He was thorough and took his time, abided by the written quote price even though I am sure he spent longer here than he would have planned, and answered the myriad of questions my inquisitive husband had. I have never worked with them before, but due to excellent (and prompt!) service, they will definitely be my first call when we inevitably will need a plumber again. I feel the price was fair. more

Do not hesitate to call!\r \r I had an emergency valve leak that had to be repaired immediately. My wife called and they were out to the house in 1 hour. Now the best part was this call was made at midnight. \r If it was not for the quick service and having the necessary parts to service on hand, then we would have been without water. Pricing was fair, afterall it was an emergency call. I would highly recommend over anyone else. You can not go wrong with the upfront pricing. I had an emergency problem with my toilet. The water wouldn't stop running due to the shut off value was stripped and the stop bobber was broken inside the tank and wouldn't press down the button to stop the water from filling the tank.and threatened to overflow the tank and flood the bathroom. Tony came on time, was very polite and courteous, evaluated my problem quickly, gave me a fair estimate and fixed the problems very quickly. more

Jack came out to the house promptly and answered all my questions and explained everything that had to be done. He was very knowledgabl and did excellent work. Not only was he prompt, I was also afforded the opportunity to have my schedualed time moved up to the first part of the morning instead of the afternoon. more

Roto-Rooter September 3, 2011 We had backup in our bathroom & laundry room. Our grandson attempted to fix our problem by renting a plumbing snake and to no avail was not able to fix our problem. We called Roto-Rooter and our service tech Dave ran a plumbing snake through, used water pressure bulb to clear out pipes, & ran a camera through our pipes only to find it was a problem with the tap into the city hookup. We have called our sewer utility company and are still waiting for them to come and repair the problem. more
