Roto-Rooter Plumbers December 2, 2011 12/3/2011

I woke up at 3:00 AM on December 2, 2011 with a toilet that would not stop running. I panicked and got out the telephone book looking for a plumber. Roto-Rooter of St. Paul popped up and had a very impressive ad including emergency service 24/7 no extra charge nights and senior discount. I called and made an appointment. Man called and said a plumber would be here at 8:15 AM. 8:10 AM the plumber was here (Nathan I believe). Very nice young man. He even helped me remove a cupboard above the toilet (he also replaced it for me). He repaired it in less than an hour. I was very impressed and would call them again if I had a problem. I have also passed on your name. Thanks again for being available and handling the whole matter professionally and friendly. more

Quick and efficient 11/18/2011

Tree roots are the worst for septic lines. The technician was on site quickly to clear a complete blockage and encouraged me to take advantage of the camera technology to identify the "root" of the issue. He delivered the bad news (broken septic pipe) gracefully and outlined cost and timelines for my review. If I have to call for their service again I hope to get the same or as good a technician since the job was so well done. more

Another job well done 11/3/2011

Called Roto Rooter on a Saturday morning. Technician was to our home in less than one hour. I appreciated this. On a gorgeous fall Saturday in MN, the last thing I wanted to do was stay at home and wait for someone to clear the drain in the bathroom. After about one hour of work, the clogged drain was clean as was the area where the technician had been working. I have used Roto-Rooter in the past for drains in other areas of my home. I will not hesitate to call them again in the future, if the need arises. more

drain opening service was great no problem there. was supposed to have a camera inspection done wed morning, 5-25-11, between 9 to 10 am, have not heard from them yet more

Just had Roto-Rooter come out to my house and perform plumber service work to my main piping that links waste and water out of my house and to the street. This business is out of St. Paul MN and were out to my residence in White Bear Lake in a timely manner. The gentlemen working on the project did a nice job to un-clog the main piping and allow water and waste to freely run away from my house again and out towards the street. I felt as though they really cared about helping me out of this situation and explained the problem at hand and what they were doing as a solution. more

I had suprisingly, great service! 1/8/2011

Prior to tonight, I would have given Roto-Rooter a one or two. I don't like having to get an estimate by having a tech stop by. I like to shop around to find, in my opinion, the best fit for the situation. But due to my situation of a clogged main drain, someone to come today. I was lucky enough to get Derek from the St Paul MN location, who put my anxiety to rest. He gave me the price and went to work. Derek is very personable and easy to relate to. He had very good answers for my questions and when he found out he was without an extra reel, he quickly made arrangements to get one here. Soon after it arrived Derek and the second teck finished up. I was given the reason for the clog and info to read. By the time he left I had a house full of family and he was polite and related well to all of them. Can you request the same plumber? I would request Derek! more

Roto to the Rescue 1/8/2011

On Saturday , January 8, I woke up to find my toilet non-flushable. That means that my shower and sink aren't going to drain. The 2nd bathroom in the house is also connected to the same drain so we had no working plumbing (except for the kitchen sink on a different pipe) Derek came to the recue and unplugged our pipe and informed us of some structural problems we will have to deal with in the future. He made a bad situaion better. He was personable and covered his shoes every time he entered the house with equipment. This is important to me. Roto-Rooter is now on the speed dial on our phone more

Excellent Service!! 12/29/2010

Just what a family needs, sewer backup right after Christmas and to welcome in the New Year. Thanks to Roto-Rooter we are back in business. It started with the woman on the phone when my husband called to ask how much it would cost to have an estimate done. She was friendly and helpful and calm. Also, if you don't know, it costs nothing to have them come out to diagnose the situation. Derek was amazing, friendly and effective. He was prompt, courteous, friendly and effective! Thank you for making a not so nice situation a tolerable one. We will definitely use Roto-Rooter again! more
