Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain

I use Roto-Rooter exclusively because although not the cheapest, they are available 24 hours, offer free estimates, no extra charge for same day service, and most importantly they do the job right the first time. Gjon pulled our toilet and cleared out a clog, installed a new flapper and fill valve, and adjusted the tank. Everything's working perfectly and we appreciated his kind demeanor and tips to keep things running smoothly. I have recommended Roto-Rooter to my Tampa friends and family in need of a plumber and they have always taken care of them. Again, not the cheapest but hands down the most convenient. more

Roto-Rooter Service Review Two days ago we had a drain problem. The kitchen sink had backed up and the washing machine drain overflowed. We checked the yellow pages and called a local drain cleaning service and were told that a technician would call within a few minutes to tell us when he would arrive to solve our problem. After 45 minutes without any call, we called back to cancel our request. We then called Roto-Rooter and were told that we would be called back shortly as soon as they could determine how soon we would see a technician. Within 5 minutes we received a call back from Roto-Rooter advising that a technician was ‘on the way’ and would arrive within 30 minutes. The technician did arrive in about 25 minutes. He was courteous and knowledgeable. The location of the pluggage was determined and he went to work trying to remove it mechanically (with a snake). However, the plug proved to be persistent and wasn’t removed. The technician resorted to a novel method of solution. He plugged the opening of all drains that led to the plug, and then applied pressure to the line through a pipe vent on the roof. This proved to be what it took to unplug the drain. It took the technician about two hours to complete his work. The charges, while not cheap, were not excessive for the service rendered. The cleanup afterward was thorough and was appreciated. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter if you have a drain problem. more

Good: Chuck was quick to answer his phone, understand our problem and dispatch a great tech. Rob #76 not only came out and fixed our problem but gave his cell# and told us to call if any other problems occur!. Bad: none!. Improvements: More communication between office and client. Other: Very pleased w/ everything!. more

In Tampa within the Carrollwood area, we had a very slow to flush tolit which clogged up constantly. Very thorough service. Plumber explained all options with a varity of price ranges and the time time to install each. He then went to the shop to obtain the exact model we requested and was very prompt. We are extremely pleased with the new appliance which is very efficient. Would reccomend to anyone who needs any type of plumbing service. more
