Bought a furnace and a/c unit through Costco who contracts with Roth. First Garth came to my house and clearly explained what units would be best and why. Next Matt came a few days prior to installation, took many pictures and made certain we were on the same page about what would be done, where things would go etc etc. Then a team of people headed by Sam Livesay showed up for installation. Over the next 40 hours they earned my trust and respect. Sam was on top of every detail, always one step ahead of me. The job was completed perfectly and efficiently. It was a joy to watch them work. I could not more highly recommend this team from Roth. more

This is the 2nd time I've worked with Garth on purchase of heating and cooling equipment from Roth. Last year I did extensive research on a new system for a rental unit. I found Roth's prices through Costco's Lennox program to be competitive. Roth's installed price was roughly $2500 lower after tax credits and Costco rebates than the competition on a new heat pump and back up electric furnace system. The Costco rebate was $1000 of the $2500 savings. \r \r This year, I contacted Garth again for a new gas furnace and AC for my own home. He suggested Roth's Earthsmart equipment as it well built in the USA by Goodman, and also a great value. \r \r Garth's quote was @ $1000 lower than the competition (Carrier) for a similar 96% gas furnance and 3.5 ton AC. This also included install of a new 50 gallon water heater as ours was over 22 years old. What also helped Roth win the business is the competitor's quote didn't include replacement of the old AC refrigerant lines. Adding on the cost of replacing the copper tubing and new insulation would have made the cost difference between Roth and the competitor even greater. \r \r Sam Livesay and his install team showed up at 8:30 a.m. They worked until around 8 p.m. to get it all done in one day and make sure everything worked. We even had hot water again by @ 6 p.m. that eve! AC and heat worked and the improved ducting they corrected coming off the AC coils will push more heat flow upstairs in the winter and more cooling to our upstairs in the summer. \r \r The install crew was courteous, cleaned up and hauled away all the packing material and our old equipment. Thank you! more

I've not always been pleased with the service from Roth Heating & Cooling but seems it depends upon the technician. I want to compliment Jonas for the routine maintenance he did on my 3-yr old furnace and heat pump. He arrived on time, did a thorough job of cleaning the heat pump, and my furnace is performing better than it has for a long time. Good job, Jonas. more

We just had ""the works"" done to our 1922 craftsman house. Garth Hepler was first to come to our house and work up a bid. His knowledge of older houses and how to properly update the system was comforting and accurate. He talked through all the options and helped us create a heating system that fit our needs.\r \r It took three days to remove the old oil furnace and duct work and install a whole new gas furnace, gas line, duct work, supply and return vents... in other words, ""The Works!"" The crew was led by Kenny E., assisted by Chad A. and Jesse L., who did a fantastic job! Weaving the duct-work through an old basement like ours was not easy, but it looks so nice now! Every register was a custom fit, which they did such a nice job adapting to the old registers. They showed up right on time every day and were kind and courteous of our house and dog. \r \r Here was the kicker: At the end of day three, the time came to fire up the new system. With a small glitch in the system, a technician was called to figure out the problem. At this point, we had dinner plans that we couldn't cancel on. The crew left except Kenny, who told me he wanted to stay until the technician arrived and the job was completed. It was a Friday night and Kenny stayed till almost 8pm... keep in mind, he hadn't left our house since he had arrived at 8am that morning. He ended up locking up the house and texting my cell phone (by our request) when he had finished. Truly above and beyond work displayed by Kenny and his crew!\r \r Our house is warm and cozy and we love the end product. We couldn't be more happy with the work that was done. Every person along the way, from the people answering the phone at the office to the follow-up technician, was professional and helpful. We could not be happier with the quality of work and character of people this company employs. more

The process started off great, Garth did a really professional job when he came out to bid the job and help me decide which unit to purchase. The back end office staff misplaced the check I sent, after cashing it, but I had all my records and a copy of the check, so it got cleared up quickly. The next step was to have an installer come out and check out the job and then make an appointment for the actual installation. Glenn M. and Kody C. came out right on time and stayed until the job was completed in one day. Very professional guys and we are very happy with our new furnace. more

The whole staff was so great!! On time, courteous, professional, and thorough. My original repair turned into a new furnace and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything went as originally planned, and you can tell they CARE about the customer experience, as every single person I came into contact with was equally as awesome!!! HIGHLY recommend !! more

We had our heating and AC installed a year ago and had great service, the workers completed the job on time and were knowledgeable and careful in completing their job. They ask for our input and explained their work clearly. We were very happy with the job and the follow up with our new system. more

Recently we had our first inspection of our air and heat system we purchased fromn Roth a year ago. Deon showed knowledged, professionalism and was offering ideas on how to cure our second story lack of air. He also told us who to contact. Deon also went over his findings on the checklist. The system was doing its job...Needless to say that from my own findings my March bill (exact mean temp and days) was at least 15% lower in cost! more

We used Roth to install a Lennox 6 years ago and have been unhappy with the whole process. We have had issues with the heat pump yearly, turns out they installed it wrong so something cracked causing a leak. The thing we are the most unhappy with is the repair service. They don't keep good records, even though we've been using them for years they never have access to whats already been done. They don't keep their agreement regarding approximate time they will arrive. We've been told twice that we were ""first call"" only to find out that they gave that slot to someone else. Not the customer service I'd expect after a $13,000 heat pump purchase and installation. more

This local business is quick to respond with good quotes and pricing. Their technicians are professional and efficient. more

excellent work at a reasonable price 1/11/2009

We received many quotes for this job of installing a heat pump and all the ducting. Roth was not the cheapest. They were well below the higher quotes however. The work we received was exceptional especially considering the price. They were quick and efficient. The inspector was thoroughly impressed by their work. He said it was one of the nicest installations he had ever seen. Wherever they needed to run anything exterior to the house they tried to do it in such a way that it was unobtrusive. The heat pump has done an excellent job at both heating and cooling. more
