Review content:
This is the 2nd time I've worked with Garth on purchase of heating and cooling equipment from Roth. Last year I did extensive research on a new system for a rental unit. I found Roth's prices through Costco's Lennox program to be competitive. Roth's installed price was roughly $2500 lower after tax credits and Costco rebates than the competition on a new heat pump and back up electric furnace system. The Costco rebate was $1000 of the $2500 savings. \r
\r
This year, I contacted Garth again for a new gas furnace and AC for my own home. He suggested Roth's Earthsmart equipment as it well built in the USA by Goodman, and also a great value. \r
\r
Garth's quote was @ $1000 lower than the competition (Carrier) for a similar 96% gas furnance and 3.5 ton AC. This also included install of a new 50 gallon water heater as ours was over 22 years old. What also helped Roth win the business is the competitor's quote didn't include replacement of the old AC refrigerant lines. Adding on the cost of replacing the copper tubing and new insulation would have made the cost difference between Roth and the competitor even greater. \r
\r
Sam Livesay and his install team showed up at 8:30 a.m. They worked until around 8 p.m. to get it all done in one day and make sure everything worked. We even had hot water again by @ 6 p.m. that eve! AC and heat worked and the improved ducting they corrected coming off the AC coils will push more heat flow upstairs in the winter and more cooling to our upstairs in the summer. \r
\r
The install crew was courteous, cleaned up and hauled away all the packing material and our old equipment. Thank you!
