we stopped going here for a few years but decided to give it another chance when we heard that there is a new chef. are we glad we did. the shrimp francese was PERFECT, as was the fra diavolo sauce my husband had with his pasta. the soup of the day was calabrese: delectable little meatballs and spinach in a robust tomato broth - outstanding! i am hoping for italian wedding soup on my next visit. compliments to the chef! more

This USED to be a great restaurant, such a shame. The food is o.k. at best, prices high, the pizza cooks & a few of the waitresses look like thy live in the back room! We used to visit this rest. quite regularly, but now find the surroundings un-appetizing. Don't know what happened to this once-wonderful place, but we will NOT go back. Save your money! more

Great Italian Food 5/1/2009

We have dined at Rossi's since moving here in 1999. It wasn't Rossi's then but we thoroughly enjoy the many offerings. The pizza (a previous review complained about it being thin)is wonderful. We always ask the waiter/waitress to make sure the crust is thin and crispy. Salads are a bit overpriced based on the size. Specials, while being a bit pricy, have always been very well prepared and are very generous portions, which we take home what we were unable to finish. more

Should be ashamed to be italian 6/27/2006

I have been to Rossi's italian restaurant several times and have never had a great meal there. Their food is mediocre and prices are exhorbitant. The people I work with go there regularly due to convenience but I cannot say I have ever had a meal that was decent. They charge $2.95 for a small cup of soup, $2.50 for what they call a salad, what I call a bowl of lettuce with 1/4 of a tomato and 4 croutons. Shameful. You could read through their pizza. This restaurant is on a downhill slide. The last time we went in a rat ran across the dining room. Needless to say, we have not been back since more
