Horrible place to shop 11/8/2010

First, it's hopeless to find a parking. Since nearby there is a shopping mall and lots of people park near Ross and walk to the shopping mall to save parking fees.\r \r Second, the cashiers are very impolite and deliberately waste their time in slowly sorting out stuff in hand while letting a long line of customers waiting. \r \r Finally and this is outragous. We bought a luggage here and then found it won't roll smoothly when you load stuff in it. Within 30 days, we took the luggage back to store for a refund. As soon as they figured out there is a problem with the luggage, they refused to take it back, quoting ""we could not sell it to other customers"". Certainly! Should not they sell it in the first place?\r \r This place sucks. My 6-year-old daughter witnessed the whole process and swear she will never shop in Ross. A good way to retain customers!! more

Needs a new manager to make sure cashiers are working 5/4/2009

It was 5:00 to 6:00 PM, probably there busiest time of day. There were 20 people in line and only one cash register was open. Even more galling, 3 workers were standing around one register for at least 20 minutes, talking. Maybe they were talking about work, I don't know. But if they were they should have done it somewhere out of sight so as not to annoy the customers more. Finally the manager opened a register and when I complained to her, she basically laughed and said ""we're changing shifts"". I told her she could have the workers overlap by a half hour if they need to count out their drawer. This is not rocket science. Pros: low prices Cons: only one cashier, waited in line for 40 minutes more
