This place needs to be shut down. They are unprofessional and lazy, my mother almost died in this place. She was over medicated and went to the hospital from insulin shock. They did not inform me of her condition the hospital did and I believe them. I have met other family members of people in this place and they are finding other places to take their family. If you are offered to take your family member there DO NOT THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN. They tell me the state was just there and nothing was found WHO ARE THEY PAYING OFF MAYBE WE SHOULD CALL IN THE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO LOOK AT THE STATE AND THIS PLACE WHO THEY ARE RELATED TO OR WHO IS GETTING PAID. Also the administrator who does not leave her office except when her boss is there maybe we should start from the top down. I also here she is now bringing her dog to the place. Is this your home or the place you work, everyone who works there should be put in jail from the top down. more

It was our misforutne that my brother had to be placed in this horrid place and within a week we were avidly trying to get him out. We never met his doctor and he was never seen by the doctor the whole time he was there. He was listed as a hospice patient and nobody informed his family. Staff is pitiful and a poor excuse for the word. They are not even in uniform. They were jeans, warmups, and their attitudes are disgusting. They dont acknowledge that these are people. People are going unfed, staff doesnt like it when family asks questions, they lie, leave patients in dirty diapers and half clean them, food sits and goes cold and uneaten, nobody knows what's going on with patients. My brother picked up a patient off the floor as staff leisurely strolled up and down the hallways cursing and disrespecting one another. They are rude, uneducated , obnoxious, angry, heartless women who care for nothing more than their paycheck. Patients screams and cries go unanswered. It is unsanitary. Patients have to pull on a string connected to a light switch to get help which probably doesnt work since it takes staff at least an hour to respond. They say they are understaffed and will not hore any help because the census is too low. I wonder why. Cons: lazy, rude, mean to patients, patients are being mistreated and ignored more

I posted the following on a different site as well because I feel I need to get the word out about RHRC: This is to anyone that is considering this facility for their family member...I strongly urge you to look to other facilities that would provide the utmost care for your member. This facility is notorious for stealing from the patients, not only personal items of value, but also food. (i.e. they take food off the plates during dinner time to feed themselves). I visited the facility, and all I heard all night were patients screaming at the top of their lungs for help, and all the staff ignored them. The staff leave several patients (for days) with soiled clothes. They refuse to change them. And if this wasn't enough, for the past several months, the med aids have given patients incorrect medications because they are confused on which patient should receive the meds. On weekends, forget about getting medications. If the appropriate staff member does not show up to work, nobody gets any medication because they claim the med room is locked up and there is only one key.
