I have to say that I'm a very patient person, however, my patience has been pushed to it's limits dealing with this company.\r \r I had a modest job. Replace my back sliding glass door with a pair of french doors and replace an upstairs door with a matching door. Because of the size of the door, it was a custom order, so I was given the estimate of taking 6-8 weeks, so far, it's taken about 38 weeks and I'm still waiting for the final resolution.\r \r After about 10 weeks, I called to try to find out what was taking so long... turns out it was a scheduling thing with the sub-contracted door installer. When the installer finally got there, he said that the door was ordered with the wrong swing.... so I had to wait for another order of the door. This time it was about 12 weeks before they came out again. This time, they installed the doors, but they were about 10 inches smaller than they needed to be... Imagine, almost a foot off on your measurements... YIKES! By this time, I find out that my company is moving me and I really need this project completed. Many many calls were made trying to contact they guy who i've been dealing with and I could never get ahold of him... finally, he returns one of my many calls and we get the doors installed. Sheetrock and painting remains. They come out and do the finish up, but at the end of the project, the last contact I had on the project didn't speak any english.\r \r When I inspected the work, there was plaster splashed on the wall, parts of the wall was only painted in one coat, so you could even see paint strokes. Parts of their work didn't have texture on it, and now portions of the paint is pealing.... only after 2 weeks. Very very poor quality.\r \r So here we are at 8 months later and I'm given an invoice for the full amount... no discount for a job, by their own admission was botched and full of mistakes on their end. I asked for a modest %15 discount.... and of course they are not accommodating that, even though they take full responsibility for everything that went wrong.... just doesn't make any sense to me. more

Amazing job on our complete renovation. Chris and his team at Roofcrafters made our large project fun and easy to manage. They were the most honest and professional estimate and that feeling remained throughout the entire project. Our new deck, siding, and metal roof are beautiful. We receive numerous compliments from our neighbors and other contractors. We are glad we chose Roofcrafters and our finshed project is exactly what we dreamed of. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family for small or large projects. You won't be disappointed. more

When two of our rental properties suffered hail and wind storm damage, our fears of dealing with roof replacements were quickly put to rest when Jay Ontiveors arrived on the scene. After 20 years in the rental business and dealing with contractors, I can, without reservation, say that Jay and his team at RoofCrafters are a rarety in today's commerce.... they show up on time, on budget, providing quality workmanship. Impressive, above & beyond our expectations !. more

Roofcrafters, Go! 11/18/2011

My highest recommendation for RoofCrafters??. We had severe hail damage last year and needed to replace our roof. Dave Harycki was a friend of a friend, and when I saw the work he had done on his and other homes, I was sold. We decided on a beautiful metal roof, they also had to deal with a very complex tie-in with our patio roof and master bedroom deck, I was really impressed with how they did it, not only from a water proofing perspective, but it looks great too!!. The quality of work and final result has increased the value of our home and we absolutely love the way it looks. I've never worked with a construction person who is more conscientious about quality and integrity and who wanted to make sure we were happy! When we had difficulties working through some issues with our insurance, Dave spent many extra hours sorting it through and got everything we needed from the insurance company. Hiring RoofCrafters was like having an insurance policy for our insurance policy. Thanks guys!? Rick Strycker more

Exceptional Work 4/8/2010

I took over two months to decide on a contractor after the recent hailstorm because our neighborhood was bombarded with offers sounding too good to be true, as well as other offers that seemed obscenely overpriced. Two friends of mine suggested I call RoofCrafters. When I did I told Ronnie about my frustrations and concerns and, after talking with him, I knew I was at the right place. It's been quite sometime since our roof was installed. The weather is beginning to warm. I look around my neighborhood and see all these botched roof jobs. The pipe jacks are cheap rubber ones and aren't painted. The shingle sheets get all wavy when the deck surface heats up. The ridge singles look like they're made from scraps used on other parts of the roof. I would be appalled if mine looked like theirs. When I look at the roof installed on my house by RoofCrafters, I am delighted. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the materials used were excellent; second to none. I want to thank RoofCrafters, Lynn (Project Planner) and the production team for doing me right. I love working with a company that shows genuine pride in their work and are committed to doing a good job. Thank you for the exceptional work. I am definitely a most satisfied customer. more

We could not be more pleased! 12/22/2009

We would like to thank all the staff who worked on our house in the rain at times and blistering heat. Professionalism, dedication, courtesy and workmanship from the project planner, roofers, painters, window installers and construction staff was amazing. After receiving hail damage to the roof and back of the house a call to Roof Crafters put us\r in good hands of getting the workmanship we wanted to do the repairs as well as additional items we had only dreamed of for years. Now with a new roof, new windows, replacement to some siding, new paint and a\r wonderful porch addition we could not be more pleased with our new house and choice of companies. \r more

The project as a whole was obviously planned and coordinated well. It's nice to work with professionals who care about the details and with one company who could handle everything. Finger pointing was replaced with performance, and delays were kept to an acceptable minimum. The new windows have made it so quiet in our home that this is the first time we did not hear the fireworks on the 4th of July--in fact we were surprised to have missed them altogether! more

Impressed 11/8/2009

My wife and I are so very pleased we chose to work with RoofCrafters when we decided to enclose our front porch, convert our two small garage doors to one big one, add a beautiful sunroom, remodel a bathroom, tile several floors and install new windows. We are so impressed with all of your employees--and couldn't believe that they are so multi-talented that we got to work with the same small group of people for everything that needed to be done! Your project planners, Chris and Ramona, were a delight and were here every step of the way, from the sale through completion. Ron is a great asset to your company and so easy to get along with. His professionalism with us and his co-workers is really outstanding. You don’t find guys like him very often. Al and Jorge are a team to be proud of. They both are such talented and caring men. Each of the guys always took the time to answer our questions, and explained each step along the way with our job. We also witnessed them laughing with each other, and we were able to joke with them too. It sure made our remodel process a lot easier to handle. The job was kept as clean as we could expect for the amount of work that we had done. I thank you all again. I will both choose and recommend Chris, Ramona and the gang at RoofCrafters for any future work. more

Your company recently replaced my roof and the crew of employees who did the actual work did a very good job. They were professional and courteous. I also would like to acknowledge your Project Planner for his courteousness and professionalism. I learned a lot from him and felt more comfortable going forward with a big and expensive project after his recommendations and guidance. more

Your representative and his crew installed a new roof on our house in Sun City, Georgetown. We are very pleased with the job they did. They were here early in the morning, worked non-stop on an extremely hot day and cleaned up the premises before they left. We would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a new roof. more

think that just about everyone in the neighborhood has stopped by to tell me how great the house looks. All have been impressed with not only the new siding but the new roof and gutters too! Thank you for the excellent job you did replacing my roof. Since you put it on in March the weather has given it a real workout?wind, rain, and small hail. It still looks great, just like the day you finished it. I was also pleased with how quickly you got the job done. Your crew was efficient at getting in and out and cleaning up after themselves. I use extreme caution making decisions concerning home repairs. Through the tedious process of getting estimates and after much prayer, God let it be known that I was to employ RoofCrafters. Your representatives were very understanding of my needs both with my roof and my finances. They were patient with my questions and promptly responded to calls. They are a great team?obviously an asset to your company. My roof looks great and I no longer have raindrops falling on my head inside the house. more

outstanding job 10/30/2009

It is easy for someone to complete a job with no problems, but true colors are evident when difficulties arise. We had a few stutter steps with the insurance claim delays, unexpected fascia damage when gutters were removed, allowing time for fascia repairs, and then coordinating the completion of the gutter work. Your representative did an outstanding job from the initial damage assessment process through project completion. You are to be commended for selecting such outstanding associates to represent your company. They helped smooth the bumps in the road. more
