Roehm's Day Spa

I bought a gift recipt for Roehm's Day Spa. My wife hated it and never used it. I tried to get them to refund or let me get "product" for my hard earned money. They refused. I have no recourse but to loose my $150 and complain on the web. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!! more

Sounds like I had a similar experience to cabjmb36... I got a half day of beauty from my boyfriend for this establishment. I'd never heard of it before, but the pictures on the website looked cozy. This place was pretty dirty and there were things all over the pedicure room floor. It didn't look carpeted, but just had carpet squares scattered about. I got a massage that was just ok, and the lady kept talking to me the entire time. The robe they put me in after was too small. I felt like I was walking around half naked. Luba was kind enough to give me a blanket to cover up my bottom half. Luba was pleasant, but I found my facial to be a bit rough. The parafin wax was the best part. I might be snobby, but I just didn't feel like a million bucks when I walked out. I felt slightly rushed since the massage lady kept me over talking. Oh, and they kept having music issues so there was awkward silences a lot of the time. It was just different, not at all what I expected and I work in a salon. more

Scheduled an appointment for 1/2 day spa package and added a couple of additional services. (not an inexpensive appointment). When I arrived the woman at the desk (the owner) was not very pleasant. I started with the massage which was just OK - certainly not the best. From there I went for a pedicure and changed technicians who was with me the rest of the time. The pedicure room was dirty and dingy looking (clippings on the floor at 9 am and they had just opened). No spa chairs, just a type of bucket with warm soapy water. The manicure room wasn't much different. I had a wax and facial - both were very good. Luba - the tech - is quite personable once you get her to talk. What happened at the end was what turned me off from every going again. The owner spoke to Luba in such a demeaning way - which I could overhear as she was not quiet - that I refuse to go back. Luba apologized when she came back to finish up with me and she had done nothing to apologize for! Seriously - get a clue on customer service. more

I booked 3 massages here for me, and my future in-laws. Though the building was small and inconspicuous, we walked in to a warm, fragrant and inviting space. After being greeted and signing in, we enjoyed glasses of water before our massages. Each of our massage experiences were a bit different, but we all agreed that the work done on us was great. Actually, my future sis-in-law walked out of hers and announce, "That was the best massage I've ever had!" (her masseuse's name was Lena). Afterwards, we were given welcome packets with info about the spa and coupons. Overall, I would recommend Roehm for it's reasonable prices and simple, but relaxing atmosphere. more

She acted like I was invading her time!! Had an appt. for a week!! The place was dusty and dirty! Peticure room had left over particals from yesterdays clients!!! The ladies were very nice but didnt really ask what I wanted done, they just did what they thought was apporaite. If you want to create return business, the owner should at least comb her hair and put on a happy face!!! She was rude from beginning to the end!!!! I felt like my mom wasted her money by giving me this gift! Did I mention the OWNER WAS RUDE!!!! Ms. Roehm, comb your hair and put on a happy face b-4 unlocking your doors!!!!I I will never return!!! Pros: I guess the massage was ok! Cons: everything else was just, well, ok, I guess! more

I received a gift certificate to Roehm's Spa and used it for a pedicure and manicure. Not only was the lady at the front desk rude, the place was not clean. I went to get a cup of coffee and there was dust on the glasses. The pedicure stations are old chairs with a bucket of water. My manicure was so bad that I bought the nail polish and redid my nails myself when I got home. I've only had nail services done there, but I would not go back for the same services. Overall, disappointing and a waste of time. more
