I would like to offer an example of the type and level of service provided by the staff at Rodemyer-Christel: last year I went on vacation to Florida. Upon my arrival, I realized that I had forgotten my travel itinerary. As a result, I was completely paralyzed, since all of my information was included in it. It was a late Sunday afternoon, and in a panic, I called the after hours hotline. The representative I spoke to was very accomodating, and put me in touch with a member of the R-C team. This individual then went to my apartment, and while I guided her on my cell phone, retrieved the documents. She then faxed the information to my hotel about an hour later. I have never in my life received such kindness and consideration from a rental company before. She went above and beyond what was necessary, and did not complain once (she was happy to do it). I am so impressed with this company, and I highly recommend it to anyone. more

Very Professional Management Firm 2/23/2011

In my experience with many different real estate management companies over the years, I have never found one to be as professional as Rodemyer Christel. Their managing agents are wonderful to deal with and have made my living in one of their managed properties an absolute delight. My current property manager always makes sure to call me back if she's unavailable or out of the office at the time of my call and is great at replying to emails. When I've reported problems in my home, their friendly and knowledgeable maintenance staff have quickly addressed and fixed them. I never hesitate to call the office because the secretary is so pleasant and helpful and I know I can always call their answering service after hours if I have an emergency. Rodemyer Christel has truly made my living experience in a managed residence a very positive one. more

Best Management Company in St. Louis 2/18/2011

I have lived in a lot of apartments over the years and I can honestly say that Rodemyer-Christel, Inc has been the best management company I have ever rented from. They have been very honest and very responsive to my needs especially so when maintenance has been requested. I live in a beautiful property that they keep in great shape. I have lived in buildings managed by other management companies in town and let me tell you, there is a big difference. more

I have lived in a Rodemyer-Christel, Inc. managed property for several years and have had a wonderful experience. In fact I moved from one RCI managed property to another about a year ago beacuse they take such great care of you and their properties. They were great from the intial apartment showing thru the leasing process. Once I became a resident, they have always been very quick to respond to whatever I have needed. Their maintenace stafff is top notch. Always very friendly and responsive. I called their emergency after hours maintenance service about 30 days ago and they were all over it. I give Rodemyer-Christel, Inc. the highest marks. Keep it up RCI. more

Don't rent at the Syndicate 7/1/2009

All potential Syndicate renters should read this first! Before renting in this building, ask lots of questions and get everything in writing!\r \r They will tell you about all the wonderful amenities, but make sure you get everything you want in writing so that you will have access for the entire time of your lease. Renters no longer have access to the rooftop deck and, from what I've been told, the condo owners are working to deny our access to the gym and 9th floor patio/clubroom as well. Management did not notify us of any changes to the rooftop availability and they haven't returned my calls regarding the rumors relating to the gym and 9th floor clubroom.\r \r Our windows haven't been cleaned once, but the condo windows have. (Our windows look awful!) My washer/dryer has been broken down for two months and has yet to be repaired. If you get locked out, you will have to call a locksmith and wait at least two hours -- and pay $70. If something is wrong with the lock and you have your key, you will still have to wait for a locksmith and cough up $70, which is what happened to me last summer. I got reimbursed after a lot of yelling. I could go on about a few other things, but I don't have time. Cons: Lots more

This company needs to kick rocks 4/27/2009

I have had to deal with this company too long, and I am not happy. I pay my condo fees but there are cobwebs and wasp hive in the main foyer.I will be llitigating soon against them, stay posted!!!\r My rating would be -5 but it wasn't an option Cons: know everything said is a lie more

Ridiculous 3/3/2009

Rodemeyer put our apartment building on sale. Their real estate agent took pictures of my apartment during an inspection and posted them on real estate ads without our consent. They were removed after I left several messages with them. The building was sold and we never received an official letter of notification. I ahd to ask my neighbor who had received a letter. My roommate and I had sent our rent in as we did not know the building had been sold. Rodemeyer returned my roommate's check and cashed mine. I am now trying to get the money to my new landlord. more
