Great Urgent Care 2/15/2011

I'm not going to lie - this was hands-down the best urgent care experience I've ever had. I'm young and don't tend to see a doctor on a regular basis. I don't even have a doctor. And I've been to a few urgent care centers in Denver over the years. I went to the Rocky Mountain Reunion location. The place was clean, updated, pleasant to be in. The doctor was kind. Busy, but efficient. Didn't spend as much time with me as she could have, but it was a busy day there. Despite that I was only there for the total of an hour. And I only had strep throat. So I didn't feel that bad that she was in and out. And yeah, I've read some of the other reviews and its true! You can get your medicine right there and not have to go to the pharmacy. What a bonus. more

Front Desk 2/14/2011

I recently just began employment at Rocky Mountain Urgent care in Longmont and am extremely impressed with the staff and the customer service they present with new and returning guests. Teresa, Theckla, Brenda, Justin, Sam, Jon, Mimi, Eileen Dr. Hill, Dr. Salter, Cory Feldman, Dr. Johnston and Dr. Long are all ready and available to each and every patient when they are seeking care. I am impressed with their ability to relate to one and all and am thrilled to be a part of this team! more

Outstanding Patient Care 2/11/2011

My experience with RMUC is when my 6 year old son fell off the top of a big slide and broke both of his wrists. My husband called a head and told the staff what we were coming in for, the satff was ready when we got there, I was allowed to fill out the paper work in the room. My son was given some pain meds as soon as the doc saw him, then he went right to x-ray. When he came back from x-ray the meds had kicked in and the techs were able to splint him. The techs were so kind and gentle with my son that he thinks they are "" magic "" because they made the pain go away and fixed his arms. We were referred to childrens ortho and given the phone #'s.This was a very traumatic experience for not only my son but my husband , myself and our smaller children. Every staff member we came in contact with was caring and concerned about us all. Thank you Teresa, Dr. Wallace, and Rich..... Mimi Schmid more

Great option! 2/8/2011

I took my son to Rocky Mountain Urgent Care on a Saturday night with a bad case of scarlet fever. We did have to wait for about an hour, but the emergency room wait would have been much longer and much more expensive. The staff took very good care of my son. The doctor was able to quickly diagnose him, and we were even able to get antibiotics there instead of having to take a sick child to the pharmacy. more

Top Medical Care, and Short Wait Time 2/8/2011

I recently had the misfortune of needing to rush to an urgent care center. Presented with a choice between three different groups in town, I decided to drive a bit further to Rocky Mountain Urgent Care based on the feedback I've heard from family and friends. I was not disappointed. I was not the most severe case in the waiting room and was still seen pretty quickly. The doctor was in quickly and the nursing staff were very helpful. All in all, the experience was positive and my bill was much more reasonable than an ER visit. So, hopefully I don't have to go back to urgent care, but if I do, I will drive a bit further to Rocky Mountain Urgent Care. Thanks. more

Best day ever!!! 2/8/2011

Went to Rocky Mountain Urgent on Mississippi for a gash on my head. As soon as I walked in and seen my bloody rag they took me straight back and just had me fill out paper work while they cleaned me up. Doc came in and made me feel like I knew him for years. Introduced himself by first name not by ""DR'"" Joked with me while he stapled me up. In and out in 45 min. I highly recommend this place for urgent care. more

Great Teamwoork 2/8/2011

Hi my name is Sylvia and I work at Rocky Mountain Urgent Care. Everyone here are Great team players!! I had to bring my son in for stitches, The tech working that day was very calm and comforting to him and even used a numbing gel instead of a shot. Then when the Dr. came in to do the sutures he also was very calming and somewhat playful with my child to make the experience a bit less scary. They were a great team that day :) Thanks Team! more

RMUC-A great place to be!!! 2/7/2011

My name is Kelly and I work for Rocky Mountain Urgent Care. This is a great company to work for. The co-workers are all awesome. Everyone here takes great pride in their work. From first hand experience, I have witnessed what pride the RN's and Doctors take in treating patients. I would recommend our facilities to be seen at knowing that each person will get excellant service. more

My ""family"" at RMUC 2/7/2011

I was one of the very first people to begin working for Rocky Mountain Urgent Care. I have seen lots of changes within the company during that time. However, one thing that has not changed is RMUC's commitment to providing convenient and competent care. \r I love working here because this is my second family. Dr Moore (the owner of the company) is committed to the community. I share this commitment. Our patients are not just random people to me... they are my neighbors, my kids' teachers, the checker at my grocery store or my dad's motorcycle buddy. \r I hope that if you need urgent medical care that you will come to us and give me the opportunity to welcome you to the family! more

Smoky Hill Clinic 2/7/2011

I brought my child to Rocky Mountain Urgent Care at Smoky Hill for migraine symptoms. She was immediatedly looked after within minutes of checking in. The staff put her at ease and cared for her professionally and compassionately. As a parent, I sensed that she was in the best place possible for her ailment and will definitely bring her back for all her urgent needs. The front office, the medical assistants and the providers are wonderful! more

Family Medicine and Urgent Care 2/7/2011

I have to say that the Staff at both Rocky Mtn Urgent Care and Family Medicine are Professional and Understanding. You will never see all perfect reviews for any Facility in any line of service, in fact if you do I would be worried. Every Facility has ""negative reviews"" and from that you should only expect positive turnaround. I can say that the care and service is exceptional and if you have a concern please approach any staff member and it will be addressed immediatley. They care about your Health and Expierence. I recommend BOTH Facilities. more

Rocky Mountain Urgernt Care 2/7/2011

I went into the urgent care with my 4yr old son. He was having an asthma attack at the time. I was very nervous but the staff helped us quickly and assured that my son saw the doctor right off. I absolutley adored the kindness and professionalism that the entire staff showed us. Our family did end up going to the emergency room but we were well informed and had a great understanding of what to expect thanks to the urgent care staff. In addition, we were so pleased to find out that the doctor that saw my son is also at the clinic to provide primary care. We will be scheduling our entire family. more

Best Care! 2/4/2011

I went into Rocky Mountain Urgent Care in Englewood on Wednesday, and it was the best care that I have ever gotten. It was even better then my PCP! The front desk staff was having a shift change and before the previous girl left she introduced me to the one taking over! And told me she hoped that I felt better. Then I went into the back where they took my temp, checked my heart etc. and the lady that was doing that made sure to make great eye contact, and go through the process with me so I knew what was going on. When she put me in the ""treatment"" room she told me that the dr would be right in. I can't remember his name, but he was great as well, he introduced himself when he came in, checked me out, gave me what I needed and said someone will be back in to give me more details and let me leave. And that is excatly what happened. I was in and out under an hour and loved it because I had other things that I needed to do. I will most certainly be going back there when I can't get into my regular doctor! more

Horrible!!! 1/19/2011

To begin on a bad foot, a staff member made a rude statement about me, while I was only 8 feet away! Then two of nurses looked at me and gave me the evil eye. Figured I would like that slide, then the so called doctor walks in (actually doctor's assistant). He only says a few words to me before making accusatory statements! I have never been spoken to like that by a health care professional in my life! Only came here because I have medicaid and I couldnt go anywhere else. Please stay as far away from this place as possible! more

DON'T EVEN BOTHER HERE 1/5/2011

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! GO SOME WHERE ELSE!! We sat in the waiting for 45 minutes and no one ever even talked to us, three people that came in AFTER we did were seen and we still DID NOT get to talk to any one!! I ended up walking out and going some where else, the other place had us in and out in less the half the time we just SAT in the waiting room here. Nurses are good at giving dirty looks, but did get confused and think they are actaully going to do their jobs here.... more

GREAT SERVICE.. GREAT DOCS N TECHS!! 12/31/2010

I have been to RMUC as a pt, and i had wonderful exprince... all the techs that i saw where super nice, the doctors are amazing and you can tell everyone really cares for their pts. So I would recommnd RMUC all the time!! I also thinks its kinda bull crap how some of these ""RN""s that write all the negative comments... think that MA's are well trained...Please some of the M.A that Rocky Mt Urgent care have are better then know-it-all RN's and before they go opening their mouths and talk rudely about this place they should know how busy it gets there! But all in all Rocky Mountain Urgent Care is great place to go!!! more

WORST experiance ever! 11/2/2010

I went to RMUC because my primary Dr. couldn't get me in right away, and wanted me to be seen for the leg pain, and numbness that kept getting worse day by day. I went in and was told that if I wanted them to bill my copay I would have to pay an additional $25. No problem. I went to the back to have this girl go over my medical history. When I said my mother has fibromyalgia, she laughed, and said she does not think that is a Dx. she thinks that they just say that because they dont know what is wrong with the patient. Then she asked my weight, I told her that I was unsure, she said to just guess (there was a scale right out the door!) I thought this was process when you checked in a patient?. She proceeded to take my tempature, and then WITHOUT taking my blood pressure, she just wrote a number down right in front of me! If I didnt work in the healthcare field, I might have not noticed this lack of work ethics! I was sent to the back room, and when the Dr.came in I explained that I was there because my PCP wasn't avilable, and described my leg pains, and numbness. She asked if I was a heavy drinker! I had already told her that I wasn't, and that my Dr. thought it could be neuropathy from my diabetes. She said ""Oh your on medications for diabetes?"" Which clearly she didn't review my chart. I told her my other medications, and she then asked if I have ever been Dx'd with depression, and anxiety? I again had to exlpain if she looked at my medications, she could see I am on medications for both. She then stated that she couldn't Dx me with neuropathy, but then Rx'd neurotin for nerve damange? If you cant diagnose something, why would you perscribe something? I asked her what side effects I should be concerned about with this new medication, and how my other medications would react with it, she said she didn't know, but when I fill my Rx. that there is a pamplet that should tell me. WTF kind of quack in the box do they have working there. Needless to say I will not be returning there, and I am going to file a formal complaint on this company, for negligence. more

Aurora RMUC 6/25/2010

I recently had the misfortune of needing emrgency care and went to Aurora RMUC. After being overcharged on my co-pay, I waited for over 30 mins before I was even let back into the room. My eye was nearly closed and had deep cuts over the eyelid and around it, blood all over my face and I waited for other people who came in after me who seemed perfectly fine! I got to see a Dr. Kliner, who took a look and told me, oh we don't care of this, there could be eye muscle involved...you;ll need to go down the street to the emergency room. No treatment at all, and then they have the nerve to overbill my insurance company! I will be filing fraud charges if I receive any sort of bill from RMUC! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Cons: Send you away after you pay more

Great Front Desk Staff 5/21/2010

The staff at Rocky Mountain Family Medicine front and back staff are very accommodating and polite. I love how I'm treated by the front staff, both in the office and when calling for an appointment. I particularly adore Beth Walker and Val, the MA. Thank you for the great care.\r Pros: Front Desk Staff more
