Over the years I have came to realise that he is a very genuine caring doctor, who takes the time to try and figure out the source of the problem and fix it. His staff has always been very caring and always make the trip to the dentist that everyone dreads, semi enjoyable.. It really does take caring people to work the hours they do. i think it is a little sad that people have to bad mouth a wonderful dentist. He is the most caring dentist i have ever brought my daughter to. From my understanding he works long hours so that he is able to see all of his patients. It takes a person with a heart to be able to do dentistry for public aid patients such as myself. There is only one other option in rockford and i dont want to mention that name but he is far more personable and is not a ""factory"" obviously these people have some other ultimatum to be saying things that he gets you hooked on meds. I have personally been to dentists that have pulled teeth and given me motrin and said to go home and sleep. I think this man should be praised for being able to see so many patients and help people that cannot afford dental insurance. I LOVE DR HANSEN I TAKE ALL 3 CHILDREN TO HIM. This dentist Duane Hansen appears at first to be a great dentist until you figure out all he wants is to get you hooked on pain pills and other pills that make you forget things and of course charge you for everything possible. Ihave had nothing but horrible experiences with this dentist. He has put in fillings which 2 have already fell out in a matter of 1 year and he also has performed ""so called"" root canals which he charged me for but for some reason they didn't work and i had to go to another dentist to have them fix what he did. He basically wants to get you hooked on pain pills and mess your teeth up so bad you have to keep going to him because of the amount of pain he leaves you in. This guy also see's children PLEASE do not take your children here at all. His office is very nice but is also very unprofessional. He has a bunch of young girls working there and they also have no idea what they are doing. Oh and by the way if you ever go there at night his young child will be running around out of control screaming in the office so while he is talking to his kid he is also working on your teeth. Bottom line is Don't go here this guy shouldn't be aloud to even be a dentist. Hope you read this Dr. Hansen you have no right to even be called a so called ""DOCTOR"" (its just a word in your case and doesn't mean anything other then that).
