Worst experience. Tim came out 4 TIMES to fix our fridge that was freezing whatever was inside it while the temp was set at 38. None of his 4 attempts were successful and whats worse is that he wouldn't give us a full refund because he said he still had methods he wanted to try! Good luck more

We've used Robinson twice now and each time, we have been more than pleased with the service. Our (crappy but functional) refrigerator stopped running ON THANKSGIVING. We were able to cope because of a back up and putting things outside, so we dodged that bullet. But Friday morning we called Robinson and he came out when he said he would and fixed the problem. I was fine with the price and we signed up for some insurance-thing. I hope we never use it but if we do, I know who to call. more

My experience with this firm was quite good. I live in a condo in Downtown Chicago; my washing machine broke. My building's manager recommended Robinson. They plainly and fully explained their policies on the phone. I gave them a credit card number and arranged to have my doorman let them in when I was at work. I got a cell phone call right on schedule and the repair was done with no problems. The c. $150 fee for a service call seems a bit pricey, but I will pay for quality. For this experience, they were very professional, honest, and efficient. more

I hva e used this company for years. The owner is just wonderful.Recently my refrigerator stopped cooling. I called him on Thursday afternoon & he was here Friday at noon. He diagnosed the problem, repaired it & was on his way in a little over an hour. As always he was professional, honest & has very reasonable rates, which is hard to find in todays economy. I highly reccommend this company! more

Can't believe it! My wife set an appointment for someone to look at repairing our oven, Robinson, the owner came three hours after the time scheduled (he did call, but after the allotted time) The control panel for the oven is broken! WE KNEW THAT!!! He said he had to diagnose the problem... he pressed the ""buttons"" and DUH!!! They didn't work!!! DUH!!!!! The control panel needs to be changed! DUH!!!!!!!! He charged $154.00 to come out to press the buttons cause he didn't believe that someone telling him over the phone that they don't work! Then he writes an estimate for the repair $1051.45 for parts and another $130.00 for labor!!! I called the maker's customer service and for retail I could purchase the said parts for $420.39 total!!!!!! Don't bother calling this guy... also I am unemployed, not that I want pity but why would a person who is making a great living take advantage of others!?! I asked him if there was anything we could do about the $154... like put it toward the repair... Nope! Remember this is the owner!!! He could do anything he wanted to! more
