Great service. My friend and I went to the Greenfiled location, and my friend has some gold to sell. Well, before we went in, I had my friend shop around. We dealt with Leslie, she is very nice and I guess she has been working at Robert Haack Diamonds for like 15 or so years. Anyway, she make an offer about 20% more than my friend got offered. He still wasn't sure. Leslie offered him a price beat guarantee, and that made him happy and he sold.\r \r I have been to the Glendale store. more

See Michele at the Glendale location 9/30/2013

I went to the Glendale store and dealt with Michele. I had some jewelry that I shopped around, and I sold most of my jewelry. Michele asked me if I was sentimental about any of my jewelry, and I was on one. She recommended to keep my center diamond, and I set it into something I would enjoy. \r \r The next time I went in, I learned that they have 2 gemologists, Shawna and Gary. Shawna taught me about diamonds, and there are microscopes for customers like me to use. Can't hide what you can see. Love the scopes!\r \r My friend had gold, told him to shop around and we went together to the south location. We dealt with Leslie. She went through the pieces and offered my friend about 20% more than any other store. Leslie suggested to shop around. All was good, and my friend sold. Yes, this store was much busier than the Glendale store, but a busy store to me, is a good sign. The guard said hi to me when we came in. Can't speak for the other employees, but Leslie was awesome. more

HAACK's! 8/28/2013

Robert HAACK diamonds is a HAACK! My wife and I stopped in twice to try and sell some gold and silver we had. Talk about highway robbery! The first time we went to have a sterling silver necklace and diamond pendant looked at. We were in need of money and wanted to see it's worth. We have appraisal papers for it, the appraisal for it was $6,600. The diamond has it's own papers as well from a gemologist telling what shape, clarity, color, etc... the diamond is in. We waited in line for over 30 min with no one helping us, much less even a word saying hello or we'll be with you in a moment. Nothing. The manager then said she'd take a look at. She told us the chain was only worth $35 and the diamond pendant wasn't really a diamond. She never did any tests on the diamond, just looked at it through a microscope. We showed her the appraisal papers and she said they were wrong. We said thanks, but no thanks and left. We took the necklace to 3 other jewelry stores, which all confirmed that it w more

We showed her the appraisal papers and she said they were wrong. We said thanks, but no thanks and left. We took the necklace to 3 other jewelry stores, which all confirmed that it was a diamond. All 3 places performed tests on the diamond and confirmed its realness. We received 3 separate quotes for the entire necklace and diamond pendant of $3,000; $3,200; and $3,250...The HAACK's were only going to give us $35!!!\r \r The second time we went in to sell some old gold necklaces and some sterling silver silverware (knives, forks, spoons) we had sitting around. Once again we waited around for 30 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge that we were even there. The gold we brought it was all 14K gold. We had about 10 grams and at the current market (at the time) would have been about $250 worth. They told us the market price wasn't up to date, they would have to burn it down, and that we could only get $150 for it. We were ripped off on the silver we brought in. Everything I looked up told me prices for troy ounces. Haack only deals in grams. We had about 1400 grams of .925 purity of sterling silver that at the current market value at the time would have sold for about $900.... They only gave us $550. We were shammed! Granted it's our own problem (faults) for accepting this price, we were idiots. But be aware people. They will not give you what your worth truly is. The customer service here is horrible. Don't let yourself get shammed! more

You can not do better! 12/8/2009

My first time at Robert Haack was in Nov.'09 when I took in old gold. They gave me 20% more that other places that I visited. We went back to have my wife's wedding rings worked on. They did a great job at a great price. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. more

Awesome Experience 3/16/2009

I recently brought in my diamond bridal set to a "mall" jewelry store. They told me that it would over $300 to fix it. On my way home from the mall I remembered that my husband bought me a charm bracelet from Robert Haack and I thought I could stop in to see what they can do for me. I spoke with Leslie and she was wonderful! She was professional but down to earth at the same time. She told me what needed to be fixed and made suggestions on some other things that should be done as well. The cost for all my repairs was half the price the "mall" jewelry store. I was very pleased and felt very comfortable knowing that they would do a great job. more

About two months ago I took some old pieces of gold jewelry here, their ad was bring in unused items and we will pay you for them. I was very pleased with the amount of money I received. They were very nice and weighed everything in front of me. It is a very nice store. more
