Roadrunner Motors

I have purchased not one, but two cars from Road Runner. The first was a '97 BMW 3 series. I bought it back in '02. In 2006 I upgraded to a '01 BMW 3, and gave the 97 to my sister. Both cars were high mileage, but in great shape and priced very low. i haven't had a single problem with either of them and they are both in use as daily drivers. The 2001 is over 200k miles, yet still drives as smooth as when it left the factory. I will be buying another car from them in the future.\r \r I don't usually post on these things, but felt compelled after reading some of these comments. more

I recently visited Roadrunner Motors to check out a few cars. One that stood out was an 2002 Audi A6 Quattro. The price was great, however I knew Audi's have high maintenance costs. I asked about any previous problems, and named by part the three most common Audi A6 issues which he said had not been found on the car. We then did a detailed under-car inspection during a test drive and found one of the problems I mentioned! The problem was two torn CV boots, something a mechanic would see the instant he checked over a car. Either their mechanic is unqualified to certify a car safe to drive on the road, or they deliberately withheld this information from us. Needless to say, we did not purchase anything from this dealer. Do not be convinced by cheap prices alone. Although we ended up buying a Honda from a dealership, try West End Auto Sales in Maryville, they were genuine and incredibly helpful while we shopped. more

I had almost the sam experience as reuben123! I also didn't like the fact that they were not willing to come down on the price for $500.00. If I had a better option at the time, I would walk away. more

I purchased a vehicle over a year ago from 'roadrunner' after 6 months the car was starting to stall the problem was diagnosed as a failing CAM sensor, can happen. However, my mechanic also told and showed me a defective instrument cluster with broken off 'check engine-light' and 'ABS-light'. Roadrunner's response: 'we surely didn't do this' and 'it must have happened before we got it from the auction' Apparently, they missed it as well when they bought it from the auction !?. Cost new ABS unit and instrument cluster $ 950. No help from 'roadrunners' since I signed the 'as is' form. True, lesson learned for not checking out the car better and for trusting a used car sales man #*%@. Be aware! more

WE JUST PURCHASED OUR SUV AND THEY HAD THE BEST PRICES THAT WE FOUND. VERY LAID BACK SALES MAN. NO PRESSURE SALES IS GREAT WAY TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS WILL RECOMMEND THANKS more
