Riveredge recently bacame the management for our building. I am confused with the address above. The address provided to us is 65 Kingsland Ave, Clifton, owner Shalva Zwick. Is this the same company everyone below is complaining about? We are experiencing the same issues, no call back, no one has showed up to introduce themselves, now we have our garbage piled up. Please confirm this is the same mngt owned by Shalva..thank you! more

RIVEREDGE MANAGEMENT SUCKS 4/23/2012

A really nice guy showed us the apartment and made all kinds of empty promises. We were in a bind, took the place because it was both cheap and convenient. The Management Company is run by INVISAPEOPLE. All I ever get is a call service and have never recieved any response from any real person. At best, a maintenance guy showed up at 8am to give me a replacement key after I was locked out of my building when my key stopped working. (Luckily a kind neighbor let me in.) They were supposed to fix a leak in my kitchen sink, my shower head and bottom knob both run simultaneously all the time (what a waste of their water!), they were supposed to put hardware on the cabinets in the kitchen and give me a replacement key for the front door (my boyfriend and I were sharing 1) but they did nothing. I called 3 times and left messages. I sent emails. Finally I wrote a note. But no response. These people if they even exist, are terrible. The walls are made of paper mache and I can hear every movement. It's just another way for some a**hole to make money off of decent people. Don't bother. Spend your money elsewhere. They also let the building's trash pile up in the back for two weeks before taking it out for pickup. It literally stinks so bad and the trash spills out from its designated area. I've lived in a place with bedbugs before and that was horrible but at least the landlord attempted to fix it. These people are just a**holes and you'll never get a response for any problems. I'm moving out now. And I've learned to look up management companies before jumping into it. These people suck. I wish I could give them negative stars for all the assholery I've dealt with. more

WORST management company EVER. 3/26/2012

Pretty much the same experience as the other reviewers. Zero communication. My front door electronic key hasn't worked for 2 months. I haven't received a mailbox key since I moved in. My oven has a GAS LEAK, and I am referred to email the maintenance department and get no reply from them. The location of the apartment is great, but it bewilders me how the management company stays in business. Because they never activated my key fob, I've been using a regular key which has sort of worked (it gets stuck). Today, I get home and the whole lock on the front door has been changed. Not only did I not get a new key, I got no NOTICE. I called the landlord and he had no idea what I was talking about. ""I CANT GET INTO MY APARTMENT."" Stay far far away. these people don't know their ass from their elbow more

Worst Living Experience Ever - STAY AWAY 2/9/2012

Like another reviewer, I rented a place in Union City because it as less expensive than Hoboken and it was a ""new renovation."" Everything about this apartment, and my experience with River Edge Management, is terrible. Management uses an answering service that is incompetent and unsympathetic. I have called several times to complain about safety and security issues, and have never received a call back. I have called about my broken mailbox - it remains unlockable after 3 months. I called with a question about my rent - never received a return call. The final straw came today. My building has been WITHOUT WATER for almost 12 hours now. My roommate called the super this morning and he was told the water would be back on by 7 PM. Eight o'clock rolled around and still no water. I called the super and he said the office ""might send a plumber, maybe tomorrow."" I called the office and was told they could leave a message with the maintenance department and they would call me back. That was all they could do for me. DO NOT RENT FROM RIVER EDGE MANAGEMENT, THEY WILL SCREW YOU LIKE THEY DID ME. STAY IN HOBOKEN! more

Don't Rent from Them! 6/1/2011

My fiance and I rented an apartment in Union City and needed an apartment quickly. The apartment looked beautiful as it was newly renovated. What we later found out was that the materials used were not good. more
