Rittenhouse Square Pet Supls

The best pet store in Philly, by far, and I have been to most of them. The prices are reasonable, especially for the location which is right by Rittenhouse Square. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They also deliver which is great. If they don't have what I want they order it, so I never have to worry about not being able to find what I am looking for. I wouldn't go anywhere else and I am a very selective shopper. more

Rittenhouse Pet is a small store which is packed to the gills with pet products. There is a definite focus on items for cats and dogs, but there are also some small animal supplies. I like their selection of high quality dog and cat foods (though they don't stock my absolute favorite cat food, Natural Balance), and their excellent cat toy selection. \r \r I believe that people who want to take on the responsibility of a pet should go through a screening/adoption process, so I really like the fact that Rittenhouse Pet doesn't sell animals. Also, when I see animals for sale I worry that they might've come from cruel puppy/kitten mills, as these are so common here in PA. \r \r Staff at Rittenhouse Pet is always friendly and helpful, and they usually have samples of different pet foods to try for those of us with picky critters.
