I went to Riner looking for funiture and found a red sofa and oversized chair. I asked salesman ""ERIC"" if it came in a sleeper sofa and he said it did. I ordered- one regular sofa, one sleeper sofa and one oversized chair on 6/22/12. 8 weeks later I received 1 sofa LZo61411B9868405, 1 sleeper sofa LZo61411B968405, 1 oversized chair LZ650411B968405. The chair and sofa matched in red color and style but sleeper sofa was a dark burgundy, a diferent color and style and did not match. I explained to the delivery man that this was not correct, he said that he will have the mistake fixed and have the correct sofa sleeper ordered and I saw him make note of it on the form that I signed for delivery. Six weeks later i still did not have correct sofa sleeper so I then called Riner furniture and talked with a secretary. She looked up my order and said that they have not ordered the correct one. They knew nothing about the mistake that was made. She said there was clearly a mistake in the model and fabric number/ color and style. She then placed an order for the correct sofa sleeper. eight weeks later I called about my sofa sleeper and they said it was in and would be delivered the following day. When the sofa sleeper was delivered, it was the wrong sofa style again but was the correct color. I then called Riner Furniture again and they said that Greer Johnson was the manager and would call me back. I called everyday for two weeks and always had to leave a message with no return call. I then went to the store and was told by an employee that the sofa i ordered does not come in a sofa sleeper like I was originally told. That they tried to pass off another sofa sleeper in order to get a sale. the manager would not meet with me. She did promise me that she would talk with manager and return my call with a resolution to the issue. I have not recieved a return call EVER.I have contd to call for the manager and Greer Johnson has NEVER returned my call. I paid $500 down and financed $1930.90 =$2,430.90 for furniture that does not match. I will continue to move forward in having this wrong corrected. more

Do not spend your hard earn money with this company. The owner is a racis,against Blacks,Latinos,Asians. do yourself a favor. Plus the PRICES have been marked up 4 times higher than retail. more

Terrible Customer Service 3/2/2011

I purchased on Dec 15, 2019, I ordered a Lazy boy sectional and recliner. In Feb I was scheduled to have the peices delivered on the 16th. I waited all afternoon, only to be called 30 minutes after the delivery window, that the pieces weren't even in the warehouse yet. After a number of phone calls back in forth, the sales manager informed me that they had never even ordered the recliner, but that both pieces should be in by the 2nd week in March. Today, March 2, I call to find out about my furniture, the couch is in, but they are now telling me that I have to arrange my own delivery. I told her that the sales person told me that the contract included the price of delivery. She told me that there were no verbal contracts, and that he didn't even work here anymore. She also told me that they were not making any money off of me, so I was out of luck. She gave me the number of a company that they worked with for delivery, and they charged me an additional 100 dollars. My husband is deployed and I had no choice if I wanted to have my couch. There over all care and service concerning my ordered was at the least poor and at worse criminal. I will never shop there or speak positively of my experience at this store. more
