Ridgeview Dental Care

We have been going here for several years and we highly recommend this place for all your dental needs, they will refer you to other offices for other oral care that they do not do. It is very important that we arrive on time, there is either no or little wait time when to be seen.\r I am happy to say the staff knows us all by first name and it makes us feel special as we are part of their family.\r My oldest son and my husband made a mistake in going to a new dental office, they claimed they each had cavities, I thought it to be strange that they both had cavities and told them don't get fillings, go back to Ridgeview for your next appointment and low and behold, they had NO cavities. \r I recently had a special request for a crown that the Dr. Favari and his assistant Yvonne put in and they did a wonderful job, during the surgery he told me what he was going to do and let me know what kind of pressure or pain I may feel ahead of time, he made sure that I knew that if it wasn't right to come back and see them.\r I can keep going on and on with only good things about this dentist office. They truly care about the best interest of the patient and thier wellbeing. This dental office has a staff that no more knows how to present itself professionally than one can fly to the moon. They are RUDE on the phone, they call their PAYING Customers by their first name instead of giving them the respect of addressing them as Mr. or Mrs./Ms. Both my husband and I have found another dentist due to the office staff this dentist has on his payroll. I’M WRITING BECAUSE THIS IS AN EXCELLENT DENTAL OFFICE AND THE BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE YOU WILL HAVE. \r I’ve been a patient there for 10 years; prior to that I was going from office to office seeking a caring and quality dentist. The dentist is great, she has done many fillings on me over the years along with other kinds of work. I have only had great results, she is always asking how I’m doing, and if there is anything she can do to make me more comfortable…She even puts Vaseline on my lips to keep them from getting dry!!!! I started going to Ridgeview Dental Care a few years ago mainly because of how close it is to my house( I live on fort meade). My husband is a career soldier so I have been to MANY offices thanks to moving every few years. I have never been to an office that does so much for there patients. Right from the first appointment. They check all my insurance stuff. they only did what my insurance would pay for in full. I've never gotten a random bill for services after the fact because my insurance didn't cover it. (I've had that happen to many times in other offices). I've gotten a few fillings done. The money lady was funny and nice. Told me what I had to pay out of my pocket. The Dr was great. He told me that the needle may hurt when i was getting numb. It was uncomfortable but i was expecting worse. I'm encouraged to schedule my next cleaning before I leave so i can have the late in the day times i need for work. I don't have to worry about forgetting the appointment because i'm scheduling it 6 months in advance because they have a chipper girl who calls and makes sure i got a postcard and the date is still good for me. If the date isn't good that's when it gets alittle tougher. There late appointment fill up quick so if i have to move my appointment sometimes i have to take a date pretty far out. But they offer to call me if they get a cancellation and THEY ACTUALLY CALL ME! i was shocked. I was able to get in on a earlier date. Ive had neighbors get mad because they missed a few appointment and got charged but they make it almost impossible for you to forget. There almost annoying about the reminders and if you do forget they give you a warning. So i ignore those friends. I figure it was there fault and they should be able to remember an appointment. All in all this is a wonderful office with caring people who know there stuff. I'm going to miss it when we get new orders. Pros: always above and beyond there job. My family and I have been patients of this office for many years. We also have many, many friends that go to this office who have always had positive experiences with Dr's and staff. The staff and Dr’s are professional and knowledgeable, they will go out of their way to make you comfortable. The dentistry we have received is unsurpassed. I find the negative reviews posted on this site to be questionable(three of which are from the same person posted on the same date). This is why I chose to write this review. I can only imagine that the people who write these things are previous disgruntled employees or patients that don’t want to pay their bill! Anything other than that makes no sense since over the many years we’ve been going there, neither I nor anyone else I know, have ever experienced anything close to what they are saying!!!! this office has been in the area a long time. i have been going to this office since the early 90's. i have never had any problems. i would recommend this office and have recommended this office to friends and family. i would say to anyone you have to actually come to the office for yourself to get your own opinion, but since i've been going there for more then 15 years or so i've been pleased Pros: accommodating to your schedule Cons: ??? more

This place is ridiculous and its sad because I used to love this office. Staff are rude and uncaring. Don't bother with it now, the staff can't spare a moment off their cell phones to deal with you. The best part about this place is leaving it. Your appointments are changed around regardless of what time you schedule them. Then they lecture you about being late or coming too early. It doesn't matter if your appointment card says that you're on time. No voicemail either, so you MUST speak to the horrid girl who schedules if you have a personal scheduling conflict. She'll either cancel your appointment entirely or force you to come regardless of what responsibilities you had come up. Pros: once it was great Cons: current staff are rude more
