This is a current review: 1/30/2015 Was told I needed to replace my catalytic converter so I called Rick's. Had to make an appointment two days in advance. Brought it in and had to call them before they closed to see if it was done. Told it may have a problem in engine and need to diagnose it, so I left it overnight. Had to call them again and ask - was told they just didn't have time to even look at it! Went it to pick it up and the mechanic did not say a word he just handed me my keys and walked away!\r Have never made an appointment and told they couldn't even look at it. more

I pulled into Rick's muffler several months ago with what I thought was a broken exhaust clamp or hanger, but it was plenty loud whatever it was!\r \r Rick quickly got my car on a lift and then showed me that the entire rear section of the exhaust (I had paid to replace it not that long ago at a different shop) was rusting through and had one large hole that was causing all the racket.\r \r I couldn't afford to replace it again at that time and asked if there was an alternative. Rick said that he could try to weld the hole as a temporary fix and that it would cost "about" $20.00. I agreed and he worked on the weld for a little over 20-minutes.\r \r When he had finished, I asked how much I owed him and he said "no charge, just bring it back to me when you have to replace it-- don't worry, we'll take good care of you!".
