I never write reviews, but this time is a must! I came to Ricki Criswell with the most horrible skin you've ever seen. Too much sun, not enough water and just not caring for it ...

From the mural on the ceiling, scented candles and soothing lighting, owner Ricki makes the waxing/facial experience a real pleasure. I have been going to Ricki for 14 years and send all my friends to her. more

My daughter gave me a gift certificate to Ricki's and I have continued to make more appointments. I feel so much better when I leave. She is very good company as well as very professional and knowledgeable about skin and products. I never feel SOLD. Looking forward to my next (booked already) appointment. more

Fast and VERY sanitary. Best brazilian wax I've ever had! 8/7/2008

I used to go to another place to get my brazilian waxes, but it hurt so much. Ricki is so fast and almost painless. She NEVER double dips her stick in the wax which is something I alway look at when I used to go to other places. I've been going to Ricki for 5 yrs and I have almost no hair. LOVE that! Her shop is adorable and clean. Pros: very sanitary, fast, painless Cons: nothing! more

Least Painful Wax EVER!! 7/24/2008

After searching high and low for the past 6yrs I was FINALLY recommended to Ricki's Skin Care for a brazilian wax "done right". Ricki is extremely fast and by far the least painful I have ever expierenced. Her place is cute, quiet, clean and sanitary. After talking to others, I am planning on recieving facials in the near future...I hear they are fantastic, and that is from both men and women. Best facial and wax I've ever had 7/23/2008

I just moved to Studio City and was recommended to Ricki and I am so grateful. She is professional and unbelievably sanitary. My skin looks the best it's ever looked and my brazilian wax was painless and soo fast! I had a glycolic facial with oxygen--she massaged me for about a 1/2 hour. Im so used to these 2 second massages! can't wait to come back! Pros: very friendly and professional Cons: none! more

What an amazing facial :) 8/10/2006

I had the best experience at Ricki's! When you walk in the scent of her candles over takes you and you are immediatly transported from stressed to relaxed. I had an a microdermabrasion oxygen facial and Ricki's unbelievable massage. This woman has magic hands. She massaged my hands and feet and I never wanted her to stop! My skin was glowing after and still is after one week. I highly recommend Ricki. Best facial I've ever had!! Awesome brazilian wax too! Pros: free 2 hr parking. on time, great realxing ambiance, great music more
