Editorial review from eat24hours.com 11/28/2012

The Good - I got the two kabob special and substituted regular rice for Lubio polo and it was amazing. The Bad - The wait time said 30 minutes. My food arrived 100 minutes later.... Since they were late I called and the were closed! It freaked me out and I was thinking I got scammed... Long story short - Their wait time needs to be edited to 60 - 90 mins, but the food was great. =] more

Usually I am very happy with my order but today's order was lacking; the Aush large bowl I'm informed is the only size bowl but it seems MUCH smaller than the last time I ordered it 28 days ago and the Zershk Polo full meal I ordered came in a lunch tray and while I usually have enough to snack a bit later, this will be gone in one sitting. I guess the trials of short order competition. So sad. I love Reyhan. more

There's a few things special about this place 4/1/2010

I am writing this review while eating up my leftovers from last night. It's Persian food, but that really doesn't say enough. The owner was a nurse who had a calling to nourish people with good food. Recipes from her grandmother. Spices and herb combinations that are very unique and delicious. I ate several beef dishes, chicken, a few salmon dishes, eggplant, etc.. --- everything totally tender and fresh. The owners let me know they only shop for that day - so everything is very fresh. Even the water is special.. they purify it using a very fancy machine that reduces the acidity, increases alkalinity -- and bottom line there is, it tastes deliciously clean. Their ice tea had cardamom and was so good I drank more than a few glasses. Prices are medium-low, so that is no worry. The dining area is colorful, friendly, comfortable. I can't recommend this place enough. If there was ever a restaurant that set out to do right by the customer, this is the place - don't let their hard work go unappreciated. I am going back obviously. Pros: food, service, people, ambiance, price, location more

Best Persian Restaurant 3/29/2010

I ran into Reyhan Restaurant in early 2008. I was driving by when saw the place. ?I would come back for lunch one of these days,? I told myself. Then, I came back later that day and had the most wonderful experience from the Persian cuisine. The food is full of exotic flavors. It is really good, fresh, and healthy. It doesn?t matter whether you are a meat-lover or a vegetarian person. At Reyhan you will find a perfect dish for your own taste. Besides the food, one my favorite items is the Persian tea. The tea at Reyhan is an exotic invitation to travel to a magical place full of culture and exotic flavors. One of the secrets is that the owners use high pH water, which make all the difference. I became a regular customer since my first visit and I will be coming back to repeat the wonderful experience. In my opinion it?s very easy to find a good restaurant. It is also very easy to find a cheap restaurant. But it is very difficult to find a good and an affordable restaurant. Pros: Good food at good prices. Cons: Not open on Sundays more

Delicious Culinary Experience! 3/27/2010

We just had dinner for the first time at Reyhan Persian Grill, and what a treat it was. The menu is traditional, Persian cuisine made with an emphasis on healthy preparation and the freshest ingredients. We were delighted with the presentation of our meals. The array of Persian spices and unique ingredients made our taste buds sing. I had the lamb shank with lima bean/ dill bastami rice, and salad. It was sooo good! The lamb meat was tender and incredibly flavorful in the red, stew sauce. The dill rice excited my palet with its vibrant flavor. The salad ingredients were as fresh as fresh can be. For dessert, I had homemade baklava...the best I've ever had! It was moist and soft with the most amazing and delicious rose water syrup. It melted in my mouth. I ordered 4 pieces (2 for dessert in the restaurant and 2 to take home). I absolutely loved my entire meal and can't wait to come back to explore more menu items. Pros: Superb Healthy Persian Food with Warm Homestyle Hospitality more

Frank and Frieda make you feel like your in their home. 2/24/2010

Kangen Water makes all the difference...since the food is made with this high ph water you can taste the freshness...Let's start with the Home made Hummus, Musto Kheyar both servered with wheat flat bread,.now the Aush is the (signiture soup) made with lentils, garboanzo beans, green onions & tons of leafy greens. Now they also have Friends and Family night specials on Friday and Saturday features a special entree based on RSVPs...now don't take my word for it go on over to Reyhan Persian Grill you won't be dissappointed. Reyhan is a great place to have a business meeting or party you can BYOB. By the way bring an extra gallon so you can fill up with Kangen Water! Yes they give the Water away to their customers!! Pros: All of the food is prepared with Love and Kangen Water! Cons: The portions are so large you can't eat it all...doggy bag! more

Great Food, Great Service 1/19/2010

I saw Reyhan on featured on KTLA and went in to have their lunch special, but heard that everyone raves about Freida's famous soup. I had the lentil and garbanzo soup and the beef kabob (oh it melts in your mouth and is moist like meatloaf). I will be returning for more. Come to find out, they cut and grind their own meat and brew their own teas as well. Pros: Soup, Quality Meat more
