Begrudgingly, I agreed to return to Revel for a friend's birthday party after a less-than-stellar experience last summer. Back then, the restaurant (once known only as No-Name Bar) was very obviously an after-thought relative to the bar, which packed 'em in. While the bar flourished, the restaurant floundered. The servers maintained little presence in the dining room, perhaps because there was only two of them for the entire space and it appeared they were responsible for everything (bartending, bussing, etc.) Then it rained, and our dinner came to an abrupt end.
Pros: wine list, steak
Cons: gets loud as the night wears on
