HORRIBLE!!!! They treat people like garbage. I was in there and watched them talk to a pregnant woman and her husband like they were brainless pieces of dirt. Their tailor messed up her bridesmaid dress (seeing as she was close to 7 months pregnant) and REFUSED to do anything about it. I would never go back to this place, and in fact did not even ask to speak to anyone after I saw how the owner treated these paying customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! more

AVOID TRUST ME. Great up front to get you to purchase once you pay into the no refund/exchange agreement it all changes. The owner and co owner are the worst of the establishment. Tailor is terrible more

If you enjoy being insulted, disrespected, and humiliated by people you are paying for services, this is the place for you!! When I went to try on my bridesmaids dress at Madison Town and Country, it did not fit. After this discovery, one of the employees continuously made fat jokes for the rest of my visit. The bride and the rest of the bridesmaids were talking about our lunch plans after the fitting and she told me I shouldn't eat anything. I corrected her rude behavior and she responded, ""yeah its not nice that you shouldn't eat anything."" I can't believe she kept on even after I let her know I didn't appreciate her comments!!! more

I have shopped with Miss Doris and the ladies at Madison Town & Country since I was a teenager and buying prom dresses. I purchased my wedding gown there a couple of years ago and had a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. My dress was beautiful and the fitting was perfect. Recently I was in a wedding party that also shopped at Madison Town & Country and, again, a wonderful experience. more

Awful service and rude staff. We were treated like trash for no reason and it was clear that we were not welcome from the moment we stepped inside. The owner herself was the rudest of all. We asked for an apology for their behavior and were refused. Will be taking our business elsewhere...their loss we are planning on spending up to 5k on dress and 8 bridesmaids in wedding party as well as flower girl.Read other reviews similar to mine about rude treatment. Clearly Town and Country dislikes certain types of customers. It seems that if you do not fit their prejudicial model of the ""desirable"" customer you will not be welcomed. more

I had to go to Madison Town and Country to purchase a bridesmaids dress. Initially, the employees were very nice and helpful. When I came back to have my dress altered, they had cut the dress too tight in the waist and the hem line was not even. Being a week before the wedding, there was nothing they could do about it. The lady who was helping me was incredibly rude and clearly did not want to waste her time with a bridesmaid, even though I was the only one in the store. The other 8 bridesmaids said that their dresses had also been cut too tight in the waist as well. After the wedding, my dress was coming apart from where the alterations were done. There was no excuse for this. When I took the dress back to be fixed, the seamstress said that the dress had been poorly altered, she was very sorry, and that she would fix it for me the proper way. When I picked it up after it had been ""properly altered"", they hadn't even touched the places where it was clearly ripping!! I live about 30 minutes away and having to keep making trips to get my dress fixed is unacceptable. After I get my VERY expensive bridesmaids dress fixed, I will never go back. more

Loved shopping here!! The bridal consults are very helpful and are so much fun to work with!!! I bought my dress and veil and my mom bought her dress here also. Everyone was so helpful and fun!! They have a fantastic selection and my dress came in exactly when they said it would. I visited other shops and they didn't come close to the experience I had at Madison Town and Country. more

I bought my wife's wedding dress here and it was a nightmare. The measurements were not done correctly and her dress was way off in the bust area. She also had a halter strap and it was put on crooked. The owner of the shop told her there was nothing they could do when she picked up her dress two days before the wedding after alterations were done and they were very rude. They didn't even call the seamstress to see if anything could be done. My mom had to fix it as best as she could about an hour before the wedding. We filed a complaint through better business asking for an apology and the owner absolutly would not apologize for her behavior. We're about to take them to small claims to get back a portion of the dress cost. I paid almost $900 for this dress and this is the way we'e treated. STAY AWAY! They have the absolute worst service I've ever come across. It is absolutly terrible beyond words. I'm having to take them to court jut to get an apology. Unbelievable! more

I purchased my wedding gown, shoes, veil, garter, and bridesmaid dresses from Madison Town and Country two years ago. The staff was helpful and knowledgable and made the experience wonderful. They had a huge selection of wedding dresses and veils. They even offer free alterations with the purchase of any dress, which is a deal you can't find anywhere else! Like all brides I was naturally very excited to start looking for a dress, and unfortunately I chose Madison Town & Country to be my first stop. From the door I felt so unwelcomed. I wish i had trusted my first instinct and gotten out of there. The lady who helped me was cold and acted really disinterested. She made me feel like I had walked into her house and tried to make myself comfortable. I tried on a dress or two, and had to get out of there. They totally ruined a very special moment that I had been waiting for my whole life. I would never recommend this place to anyone I love. Pros: nice layout Cons: horrible customer service more
