Computer Problems? Call on Restore 9/27/2013

On starting up my HP laptop yesterday morning, I was informed that it would shut down due to an inoperable fan. I make my living using this computer and was under deadline. Panic set in. Using my iPad I ran searches to find reviews of local repair services. I also read up on what to look for when using computer repair service companies. Based on the reviews and nearby location I chose Restore Computer Repair and am glad I did. \r \r The price was more than reasonable and Sam had my repair done in 5.5 hours. He is friendly, pleasant, helpful, and honest...qualities not always found. \r \r Sam has earned a customer for life...though I truly hope I don't need his services very often! more

head of the class.\r took wifes PC in at 3PM had it back by 6PM(they stayed late to finish) burned up vid card and a capacitor on MB new parts at great price and very quick service, will take all further PC problems to these guys. more

Honest and Reasonable Computer Repair Service 7/17/2011

The quality and personal care really shows in this family owned and operated business. The owner diagnosed and fixed my problem quickly and accurately. The rates are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Restore Computer Repair to anyone who is having computer issues. Hopefully, we will not have any further issues with our computer, but if we do this is the place we will go. more

Great, fast in-store laptop repair service 5/24/2011

Great service, honest family man. Ive been to other computer repair shops and restore computer repair is by far the best. My keyboard was not working on my laptop, the technician took it apart right there and fixed it, took him maybe 5 minutes to fix it. I also recieved an excellent education on the inards of my laptop. I will continue to go back there for now on. The owner is very generous with his time, its nice to see a family oriented business surviving in this economy. more

Trust me! You will be so happy you found this place you will find yourself wanting to spread the word quickly for these folks. Sam is such a helpful and honest guy, while I was there, another customer was telling me how happy she was to have found Sam and now Im singing his praises! Please visit this place, they repair just about everything too. She had her DVR repaired, I also found out they do TV and LCD repairs. I just had a silly virus that I couldnt get rid of. Sam is very knowledgable and seems to go out of his way to explain every little detail so you completely understand everything. more

Well I had my second visit to the "Doctor" at Restore Computer Repair a little while ago and ahain I was very satisfied. Iv'e watched this small buisness grow from a home basement (my 1st visit) to a little shop that does great work at very resonable prices. Whats even better is the service and it's location on Harford road is great. more

Unsatisfied with Restore Computer Repair 2/24/2011

I gave them only one star because I was told that I would receive a call with a diagnosis in 2-3 days. I dropped my laptop off on Saturday at 10AM (when they open) and decided to call them on Thursday since I have not heard from them. I was told that "it's on the bench" and that no one has looked at it yet. \r \r You have to pay about $35 when you drop the PC/laptop off so their diagnostics are not free. more

Restore Computer Repair is above and beyond any service I have used. 9/1/2009

My daughter's laptop had been dropped, a hinge broken and the power receptacle damaged. Sam fixed the receptacle and replaced the bottom of the laptop case - all for $150. Their service is outstanding and the price more than fair. I highly recommend them. more

Restore Computer Repair is excellent 7/23/2009

Took dead desktop to them at 9:30 in the morning; they called at 7:30 that evening to say they had found the problem and fixed it. No parts needed, so a flat $75. Pick it up the next morning. Works like a charm. Bravo! more

Great Service. 6/17/2009

After my computer crashed and had a bios message on boot, I called the motherboard company and did not realize when following their instructions I accidentally pulled the power plug out of the hard drive. When booting up, the bios did not recognize the drive and I thought it died. Tried everything. Seagate said they would replace the drive, but it would cost $1200 to retrieve the data. I called Sam and he told me it sounded like the power cable was out (no one else even suggested that). The computer is now working again and Sam didn't even want any $$ for the phone consult. I know that for any future problems, he will be the one I call and all my friends will know about him too! more

Outstanding Service, Outstanding! 10/29/2008

I can't say enough about the service and price I got from Restore Computers. I brought my laptop in for an lcd replacement and Sam went the extra mile and educated me on my laptop, did a virus removal and removed all kinds of hidden adware and spyware I had that I didnt even know about. When I got my laptop back it was faster then when I originally bought it! Thank you thank you thank you Sam. It has been running like a dream! I will NEVER go anywhere else, I am so thankful my lcd cracked so that I could meet you. I have already told several coworkers about you today and they will be calling you for sure. Excellent! 8/25/2008

My business laptop crashed and wouldn't even start due to corrupt or missing files. We tried different things for a week and were starting to contemplate just buying a new one. My boss found ReStore online and decided we'd try there. He dropped it off at 8:30am and we received a call at 12:30pm saying it was fixed and ready to be picked up. I couldn't believe it when he said the cost was only $75. If I have any future issues my first call will definitely be to Sam.\r If you have a problem, and no one else can help, maybe you should hire ReStore Computer Repair. more

Sam - owner of Restore - gave me the best service and fastest turnaround time of any computer repair company I've used in my life! Seriously.\r \r The guy even spent an hour and a half with me on the phone answering my questions about computer security and anti-virus software AFTER fixing my original problem - a broken laptop screen. \r \r The price he charged for EVERYTHING was $75. I've been around the computer repair block enough times to know that the free knowledge, 2 day turnaround time, and labor would have cost me $300 anywhere else. more
